Hi,
This might seem a silly question, but I need to find out. If you purchase a photo shoot, what type of photo do you get? By that I mean the format/medium given to you (such as standard photo size or A4 photo), do you have the option for the photo to be put on CD for example?

I'm tempted to still get the silver ticket, provided See Tickets would allow me to upgrade my 3-day standard ticket if I did do that, then again I may just buy a photo shoot and autograph for a specific captain instead. Gosh, all these options, so tricky to decide :(. The other thing that's making me think twice about the silver ticket is the fact the other people going with me wouldn't have one so I'd feel a bit guilty on that.

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, in regards to in-person autographs, do you bring something with you for them to sign, e.g. a photo you found on the internet and printed out perhaps? Or do they have something already that they sign? Sorry for the questions, this is the first type of event I've been to where you can get things like auto's or photo's.

The photos at SM events are usually 9x7" prints - it may be different for this event but I suspect it will be the same.

Autographs can either be on a 'personal item' that you bring with you (photos, DVD covers etc) or there will be a selection of official 8x10 images on sale at the event that you can buy to have signed.
Attended: Hub2 (S86), Hub3 (S9), CM:London 2009, Hub4 (S2), Invasion Spring 2010 (ST128), Bad Wolf 2010 (ST68), Roadhouse (S1), Hub5 (S2), Hallowhedon2 (S20), Hub6 (S2), Hallowhedon3 (S1), Hub7 (S68), Hub8 (S6), Hallowhedon4 (S1)
Crewed: CM16, LFCC 2010, CM:London 2010, CM17, LFCC 2011, Sportsmania 2011, CM18, LFCC 2012, CM Glasgow 2012, EMS 2012, Autographica 2012, Star Trek London, Eternal Twilight 9
Definitely Attending/Crewing: CM19, Chevron 8.0, LFCC 2013, Hallowhedon5
Possible/Probable: CMG 2013, CFCC 2013, CM20

Thanks, and assuming I paid for a photo shoot and autograph from the same captain on the same day, would it be possible for me to arrange it in such a way that I can have the photo taken first so I can have it signed after? I presume this has been asked before and is possible, but want to make absolutely sure anyway.

Also, for the inclusive random autographs on my standard 3-day ticket, I presume I'll know who they are in advance before I go to the show (in order for me to bring the right photos for them to sign)?

If all of the above is yes then I may just get one photo shoot and one auto from a captain instead of thinking about possibly upgrading to silver.

Thanks again.

Photoshoots are usually done earlier so that photo's can be printed and given out later in the day. It's never a guarantee you can get it printed and signed same day, but I did it for all but 1 of my pics at LFCC

While we are at the subject of photo sessions.. I will attend on Sunday only due to work commitment. So far I have two photo sessions booked, both are Captains. I am considering a third session with one of the other guests. Out of your experiences with these kind of events is it possible to carry out three photo sessions in only one day? I hope to get some time over for a few autographs as well. At least so I know if it is possible to do before I book my third. Thanks :)

Three photo sessions in one day will be very easily doable. There'll be a schedule published nearer the time - usually a week or two before the event - so that will help you with your planning.

Yeah i would say 3 is very easy to do. When the schedule goes up you'll see what times each of your guests is signing, so you can plan your autographs around the photo's.

Now I have booked my third photo session:)
Btw, of your experience, what would you say is the maximum amount of photo sessions I could consider in one day (Sunday) to be able to a fair bit of autographs? In case there will be any future guest I really dont wanna miss.

So far I have only been to events like this in my own country, and not as big. Also only done like one photo session each time. This will be my very first time with Star Trek, the best show on earth. :)

I have only done gold pass before, so I didn't have to rely on much queuing. But at LFCC recently on the Saturday, I did 6 photoshoots, 3/4 talks and got about 7/8 autographs.

It's all about the planning, schedule times and getting in a queue at the right time to reduce loss of time at the event.

Thanks for the answer.
I can say that as of now I have three photo sessions and 5 planned autographs. So a fourth possible photo session could be done with good planning. And by the time the schedule arrive the planning will be easier.

I have three photo sessions booked for Sunday (Shatner, Bakula and Mulgrew), maybe the chances are small that they will collide, but IF they do..is there a good "work around"....or how have you handled it?

If you get clashes, generally speaking you should go to the one that starts earliest first. If there are two or more that start at the same time, go to the one with the shortest time span first. For example, William Shatner and Kate Mulgrew photo shoots both start at 12.00. If Shatner's is due to finish at 13.00 and Mulgrew's will finish at 12.30, go to Mulgrew's first. You should also speak to the crew in that phot area - preferably one of the pit bosses (wearing red t-shirts) - and they will make sure you get through in time to get to the other one before it ends.

Hope that all makes sense and helps.

No, unless the other company are insisting on it Showmasters don't offer electronic versions of photoshoots
