On the 23rd of May 2012 Gary set a new world record when he jumped from a helicopter at 2400 feet (730 m) without a parachute and wearing only a "wingsuit", landing on a giant stack of cardboard boxes and becoming the first skydiver in the world to land without the use of a parachute.
Gary most recently was seen as a "Bond Girl" playing the Queen as he parachuted into the Olympic Stadium for the London Olympics 2012 Opening Ceremony. This was the defining moment of the London 2012 olympic opening ceremony.
