I thought I'd start this off!
I'm Louise, 25 years old & this will be my second ME convention (Hub 7 was my first one!). I'm really looking forward to coming to this & having lots of fun with everyone else!

I'm Tracy. I went to EMS last year, that was my 1st one and it was only a day thing. So I'm looking forward to this being the whole weekend.

I'm Adam, i am 29 have been doing cons for a while, although this will be my first specialist one and for a full weekend stay. I am staying in the hotel, happy to meet up for drinks etc. Thinking about sorting a trip to Frankie and Bennys at the airport on Saturday night for a cheap meal.

Don't be nervous, DW!!!!! I've been to four of 'The Hub' conventions run by ME and they were all extremely well organised, and everyone there (guests, staff and attendees) were all very friendly. You won't feel like a 'newbie' for long, I promise you! Are you coming by yourself, or with a friend? If you're on your own, I think you'll find that you will soon get chatting to people in queues (for autographs, photoshoots and talks - there's a lot of queueing at conventions these days but ME have a really good system of making sure everyone gets the chance for a good seat (relative to your ticket type). The first time I went to a 'modern' convention and realised about the queues, I felt a bit put out TBH - but the time passes very quickly when you get chatting to people, you'll be surprised (I was!). I hope you will have a fabulous time!

Were you the lady who was photographed in John Simm's arms at LFCC?? I was rather impressed by that, if so - what was his reaction to the request, may I ask? He certainly had a smile on his face.... *is not jealous...much*

Yes, I was the one who done the funny poses with John Simm.
He was absolutely fine with the poses I asked him to do, though he must have thought I was mad, lol!

Im Dave, and i been to lots of the LFCC and EMS type shows but never any of these intimate gigs so hopeing it will be fun, im coming down with my sidekick, Chloe my 13yr old daughter.

I'm Dan, I'm 18 from Wales too, I've only attended one convention in my life and that was for my 18th birthday, so I've never attended a ME. I'm a huge fan of a certain Doctor Who actress and character as you can tell by many many posts of mine. And David Tennant is my Doctor, so this is the reason I'm attending this event. And I'll be attending on my own.
