I find it rather strange no more guests have been announced for few weeks and also that there appears to be no activity from show masters at all on here people are asking questions but they not answering, find this rather concerning, anyone else find this strange?

All I know there were busy with this LFCC. And I assume this is a lot of work?

Showmasters will answer questions as and when they can. Also, a lot of the answers that people are looking for will be in the Frequently Asked Questions thread.

Guests will be announced as and when contracts have been finalised and signed. With nearly three months to go, there's still plenty of time.

So, no - not in the least concerned. Excited, yes. Concerned, no.

They've been busy with LFCC now that out the way im sure more guests will be announced once contracts have been signed :)

There's plenty of time for guests to be announced. Just because we had them on quite a regular basis, doesn't mean they will keep up that pace.

There are a lot of things still being ironed out so queries etc will be answered as soon as possible.

The event is certainly moving forward so no cause for concern whatsoever. Just cause for a little patience, that's all :)

They announced two new guests last week!

They're only going to post info when it is finalised. Just because nothing is posted doesn't mean they're not working on things. With 3 months till the con people just need to be more patient!!

23 guests announced 3 months before the event (including the 5 captains) and you are worried ??? Tell that to the True Blood fans who have 1 guest announced 4 weeks before the event ....

Yep spare a though for us Bitten 3 peeps who have 1 guest at a convention that happens in 4 weeks time!!!

Sorry, but I have asked a number of times - can we PLEASE keep all Bitten discussion in the relevant section? I don't think it's relevant to the organisation of any other events.

Guest announcements will be made as and when contracts have been agreed and signed. There's plenty of time for more yet.

People moaned that LFCC didn't have enough guests with a month to go, and then a flood of guests got announced. Plenty of time yet for the guest list here to get much larger.

I still feel a bit frustrated by the sudden lack of new guests and with TNG turning 25 years old I really hoped/thought we would have seen quite a few names apart from Patrick's from the main cast......

But how can Showmasters et al announce them if they have yet to commit to the event?

I think you'll find lams9999 mentioned it way up there in post #8 before I did thank you very much, I was merely agreeing with what they had said.

hi all we are still working on more guest for this event and we are now trying to get guests that are rare and have never done any events or at least have never done a UK event that way you will get to meet some guests that you have not had the chance to meet before making this event very memorable .

as a lot of you know we are good at finding great guests and this event is no different , things are well on there way and we still have lots more thing to add to the event .

tickets sales for this event have been quite amazing and we feel it is going to sell out so we will have a good budge to bring you more great guests and more.

thank you for the update!  If you get leonard Nimoy or Simon Pegg im having your babies.  Its good to see the mentality that your taking here, trying to find hard to get guests is the way to go (with a few TNG cast thrown in )  I look forward to more updates.
