So sad to hear that previous Autographica guest Ernest Borgnine passed away yesterday.I didn't know where to put this topic so opted for here.He was a fine actor and a superb guest to meet, ever smiling, funny, enthusiastic to meet fans and a legend for his career. Seems appropriate to thank Showmasters for getting him over as a guest as none of us would have had to chance to meet this lovely fella if it wasn't for you guys.. So Thanks Jason and co. And condolences to his family,wife and children. He'll be missed by fans and collectors .

Yes this is very sad news, Ernest was my favourite ever guest at the show and a real legend.
He entertained us with so many stories from his career and always had a big smile for fans. He was without a doubt the friendliest guest we have ever had and laughed his way through his time at Autographica.
I once phoned him at home and was met by bellowing laughter throughout the entire conversation.
He will be missed

I was shocked when I introduced myself at Autographica and he said "but... that's an Italian name, I am Italian too!". We chatted in Italian for a couple of minutes; one of my top ten convention moments. Ti sia lieve la terra...
To everything that was.

i was really saddend to hear of his passing yesterday he was a true acting legend wish i could have met him my thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends
