With a deluxe weekend pass it says you get a photoshoot with each of the guests attending which seems good value, I dont suppose this includes Buzz Aldrin because I cant see where it states excluding him?

its used to mean 1 photo with all guests doing photos a minimum of 10, then they changed the small print to a maximum of 10!!! but as far as im aware they have not made any more changes, so buzz if you wish up to your max of 10 shoots can be included.
I would like to meet the tart who just complained about me! if its you, come say hi! p.s I paid £180 entry to LFCC 2011, is that free?

Does that mean you can choose the "10" or are they predetermined?

You can choose. If you don't want a picture with Buzz you can take a picture with another guest instead.

With the duluxe weekend pass, do I need to say in advance which photoshoots I want or do I just join the queues on the day?

Thanks

I've never been to one of these events and I'm looking forward to attending, but I'd like to ask advice about the best type of ticket to get.  I'm interested in getting to see some of my favourite stars and the Deluxe pass sounds great for the chance to get photos, but I like the idea of the dinner & was wondering about the VIP pass as well.  The information says the VIP pass includes talks, but I can't see many of those listed.  Will all the guests do talks?

Has anyone got advice on what the different tickets offer & what might be best for me?

You'll find an overview of the talks here: http://showmasterson...showtopic=76311

They're listed under "lectures".

Thanks for the link Queen_Sindel.    The list shows only three talks/lectures so far.  Is that right, or do you know if there will be any more booked later - for example with some of the Space: 1999 guests?

You don't need to get a VIP pass to attend the talks/lectures. AFAIK, the VIP pass' only real benefits means you might get an upgrade in digs, jump queues for the bigger names to get autographs, and maybe get front row seats for the talks. Bearing in mind the talks I've done in the past weren't exactly standing room only, and some  barely filled three rows.. paying  the extra didn't exactly give much advantage.

You don't have to get either the VIP or Deluxe pass to get a ticket to Dinner. A VIP pass would improve  the chances of sitting on Buzz's table, if that was your thang. The deluxe pass would be a good investment, if photoshoots were yourr thang, like some we could mention on here..

Hi There
Nicely put.
One thing i would add is that if the dinner is your priority at the moment you have zero chance of a seat with an astronaut without a VIP pass. Most people attending for the first time use the VIP pass to attend the two drinks receptions and grab the best seats at the dinner. The deluxe pass is great value if you like getting photoshoots and you will save a lot of money with it.
As a general rule if you plan on doing 6 or more photoshoots then you will be better off with a Deluxe. And don't forget we include the Buzz photo in with that.

Can anyone tell me how this pass works in practice - do you get 10 tokens/vouchers for your photos?

Hi There
No, your pass is marked as you attend each photoshoot.
You can visit each guest only once.
Roughly speaking if you want to attend more than 6 photoshoots then you are better off with the Deluxe. And of course you get into the drinks reception, and weekend adnmission too.
We decided to make this pass a permanant feature after talking to attendees. Some of whom i know from personal experience never left the photo studio for much of the show. It really is good value especially if you are planning on getting Buzz.

is the max of 10 shoots still in play with the Deluxe pass or has it reverted to how it originally was as 1 photo shoot with every guest doing a shoot? no cut off.

why not have somewhere on the forum the explains how all the passes, tickets, photoshoots and schedules work.

It would save a lot of confusion, uncertainty and unnecessary problems.

Thanks for that. So it's a paper pass that gets marked off. Ok.

I'm still debating between either getting one of these or going for the Buzz photo shoot and the other astronauts group shot ...
I'm afraid the drinks reception doesn't appeal to me, so that's not going to swing it!

At the drinks reception, do any of the guests attend? If so who's planned?
I am not expecting them to be signing early, just hoping for more time to chat with them.

I've only been to one drinks reception which was at the last show at Heathrow and there seemed to be a good number of guests there, not sure every last guest turned out but certainly more than I was expecting.
