Hi

Was sat in a VERY long queue last night driving into Cheltenham (silly me thought the Gold Cup would be over by 5.30pm) I got bored so I started looking in the cars driving the opposite way just in case I saw any one and after about 15 minutes a car drove past and John Rhys Davis was sat in the passangers seat.  I sat there going oh my god,, oh my god  and before I knew it he drove past and I didnt get a chance to wave at him I was gutted. I wonder though if he won on the horses he had a happy look on his face.

When I'm bored I sometimes daydream about what would I do if I bumped into one of the LOTR cast in an everyday situation. Like what would I do if Billy Boyd bought somethiung from the shop where I work, or if I bumped into Liv Tyler in the ladies'! Does anyone else do stuff like that, or is it just me?!

when i am walking to college in the mornings and i am bored i so badly sometimes think "yer what would  i do if dom just walked round the corner" it is weird i make up whole imaginary scenarios (all of which end very nicely!) and then i think yer what would i really do!! gawp and swear and then fall over is the most likely thing!!!!!

he he he yer but i know i would try and say something and then just swear. i have a bad habit of doing that either when i am nervous, excited, scared or dont know what to say, all of which apply to suddenly meeting dom!

actually just thought, i would probably see them walking towards me and go to say hi and call them by their character name...oh how embarassing...can you imagine going up to billy and saying hi pippin...i would just die

omg!! i never thought of that!!! i can see it happening to me now, i come out with enough bulls**t when i am thinking normally let alone panicked/overthemoooon so i can really see me making a fool of myself now!! good thing it wont ever actually happen!

you say that it will never happen but i can imagine going to C5 or LFACC and just standing there while billy (etc) sign an autograph and me turning to go and just blurting it  out...im thinking i shouldn't have started this as i have a feeling its going to happen to me

I dont live in cheltenham I live about 20 miles away but work and go to uni here.
I have to say it was definately JRD he looked exactly the same as he did when i met him.

Oh yeah I know, but everyone's done that, it's just not impressive anymore. So I didn't think it was worth mentioning.

well... ok.. so maybe everyone DOES imagine that they would bump into/ have deep and meaningfull conversations with these celebrities, i know i do  (alot     ) but i dont think its that sad!! (maybe i'm sad?) but its nice when your having a REALLY bad day and you can just imagine your somewhere else with these amazing people? do you not agree?       xxx

Yes, I know exactly what you mean and no it's not sad.

It's just the perfect escapism to imagine yourself leading the kind of lifestyle they do, alongside with them!
