Im just interested to know this.  Never been to a convention in my life or even considered it.  But when I heard this event was happening (well, even before it was announced) I was interested.

Until the prices were announced!

I mean - these prices are INSANE!  Is this normal for this kind of event?  I've certainly been priced out!

They are certainly in line with previous events yes.

Luckily there's months to save up so it gives you a chance

I know it's difficult for some but at least you have the option.

And they are way cheaper for tickets/shoots/autos than other events. Some US ones have charged over 100 dollars just for things like a shoot with Shatner and such.
Attended:

Attending:

CM:MK 19, LFCC '13, EMS 3, Destination Star Trek London

Cheaper than a lot of similar events, MUCH cheaper than the US versions, and with the cheap single day tickets available and all the extras optional for those that want to do it on a budget, I think they've covered most bases pretty well.

As others have said in other threads, you can end up paying 3 or 4 times the prices for autographs and photos at other events. Personally I think the basic £29 day ticket and all the free stuff that gets you is pretty good....

Ha! It's not even a "once in 2012" thing...
Every time you post a huge signature, a cute fluffy little kitten dies.

Unless you're a hardcore trekkie, you probably won't see this again though :)

I'd say it's definitely more expensive than other events such as Collectormania or LFCC however events that are specific to one show or group of shows tend to be more exclusive and have better guests, talks etc, so the tickets will always be more expensive. Saying that they are still a lot cheaper than I thought they would be considering what other organisers will sometimes charge!!
