Is there any news when the bridge photo shoots will become available for purchase? I though they'd go live with the other photos today but alas it seems not.

There are no news yet. Once there'll be news they will be announced here, likely in a pinned topic.

Ok, I was a little worried that the only way to get bridge photo shoots would be via one of the package ticket prices up front.

Interested in one of these and would love to know more about them please.

Could you please let me know if it is one ticket for two people or one ticket per person, as I would love to be stood on a Star Trek Bridge with my No1 (my Hubby);)

If you want to be on the shot together you will need two tickets. But you will get two prints then too, so you could do different poses or something for the second shoot.

Do we have any idea how much they're going to be? I am probably not the only one who has limited funds and has to figure out how best to disperse it...

You will be able to buy everything separately.

That dosnt need to be a worry really. You can keep adding photos to your order right up untill the event without having to pay more charges (apart form the price of the shoots themselves)

So whether you buy a Captain's shoot now or when the bridge shoots go up, wont make any difference.

Alas, it will--I can't afford all of them and have to prioritise what I want the most, so the price of bridge shoots will decide whether I can get a captain shot at all!  Postgrad here, not made of money.

Money is a big concern for loads of people at this event, I think the main thing to do is prioritise, and make sure you have at least got a few quid to take with you on the day for any nick-nacks and autos you want to get at the event itself...

So is the shoot going to be the only way to see the 'set'?

Some of us might want photos of it empty, with our own cameras.

No details other than there will be a photo shoot on a bridge have been announced so far.

I think so far this is rather prioritised. The Captains will be the most popular guests at the event, so getting everything sorted to have them up this early gives everyone the chance to get them now and for the days they want.

The other stuff, yes we want, but can take a little extra time to be sorted because they wont be as in-demand as the Caps.

So SM can sort out the details (like which bridge) and such and still get them to the people who want them

Well unless it's in constant use for shoots, pity not to make the extra use of it.

If I went and didn't get to see at least take a few snaps of it, I'd be a bit annoyed. I'm not buying a ticket just yet anyway, but would have to wait for more clarification on this point now.

If its just one stock pose of people in front (or seated in the captains chair), might as well just be a greenscreen. You'd only see it when going to the chair! Surely its something people would want a full walk around?

They might do that.

But for me? Way different to green screen. I'll get a photo just to be on the birdge. To be on a part of my childhood that dosnt exist, but for one weekend it does and I can touch it and sit on it and be like 'wow...finally' lol

That's what is is for me. Screw what anyone says afterwards like 'oh is that greenscreen or a set?'. This shoot (just like all the others) are for me and me alone.

Those green screen photos you sometimes get at exhibitions and so on look terrible IMO. If that's all it was I wouldn't bother but the fact they're going to be building a replica set could be awesome if done well.

I would be surprised if they go to that effort that others won't be able to look around it but if people are paying for photos on it, not sure if others should be allowed to for free unless the official photos give you something special.

It's months until the event so I guess we'll just have to be patient and wait and see what's planned.
