Hey guys

My friend and I are having a think about which ticket to purchase.  Our concern is that the cost of the silver and gold tickets may be slightly beyond our budgets.  Are most people going for the more expensive tickets?  If we went for the base three day tickets would we have the option to pay supplements as necessary to go to additional events such as talks, the after party and opening ceremony?

Hi there,

We (boyfriend and myself) will only buy standard tickets.

We both have never been to anything like this, so we just want to "taste it and see it". Therefor a standard ticket is enough for us. (and I think personally -hope nobody feels 'attacked by this- the silver pass and everything above this is more for the die hard fans and for us too expansive)

I am gonna buy some additional tickets like a photograph and signature.

But this all depends on information that is not available yet.
Like the free talks and the payed talks. And I would love to see the Opening Ceremony, but this is on friday, and there is for now only a "saturday/sunday choice ticket, and not yet a friday/saturday ticket.

Maybe this helps a bit?
D.S.T.L. was Great!

Friday @ Opening Ceremony =
Our chair was a bit in the back, but never the less... I saw her on stage! (meeting Kate first)

Saturday @ Photoshoot Time =
Queue was long (was present @ the queue around 17.20, photo was taken around 18,45) , my number was 666, choke her hand & said "Hi" *flits* (meeting Kate second)

Sunday @ Guest Talk Time =
her talk was very nice (perhaps talking to Kate third)

There dosnt seem likely to be a fri/sat standard. But we'll see.

I would recommend the 3-day if you really want the full experience but still keep it cheaper.

I think we will go for the three day tickets. So, do you think we could buy individual opening ceremony/captain's talks tickets on the Friday? We thought these were restricted to premium ticket holders.
