Would be nice to bring it back to the UK, wouldn't it? Especially with 5 Captains at the event!

I'll have to give this one a miss. I don't have a costume and am not likely to get one before October.

Took part in the 2010 record in Vegas, brilliant time! Various costumes but all supervised by Gene Roddenberry's assistant and Guinness records. Over on the ST Facebook page it was suggested that we could do a sponsored event in favour of the children's hospice which is very near the Excel. It would generate great publicity for all involved.

I don't usually like dressing up and that, is it just for the one day then or the whole event? If it's just one day then I don't mind helping out and joining in and wearing a uniform thing if it helps break the record.

"Let me see if Ive got this straight. You're risking the ship, the crew, and the mission on the assumptions that Helkara and Leishman are engineering geniuses, Tharp is a piloting savant, our transporter chief can work miracles, and the Breen are unwilling to sacrifice themselves in a kamikaze attack?"
"Yup."
"Damn I LOVE this job."
