I'm thinking of booking tickets and I'm thinking of taking the 3 day standard which you get:
3 Day Standard
3 Day Event Access
1 Pre-Signed Autograph*
1 In-Person Autograph**
Limited Edition Print
Exclusive Goodie Bag

Will I be able to have an autograph from one of the 5 captains in person or will I have to pay more?

If I decided to pay for the  2 day pass can I pay for extra stuff like a bridge shoot or  a print and stuff like that?

I can only do weekends and I'm travelling down from Manchester.

Thank you!

You can buy extra tickets for anything that is not included in your ticket. It does not matter if you buy 2 or 3 day standard, silver or gold.

So in your case yes, you can have the autographs from the 5 captains, but at additional costs. So far we have no info how much the autographs are. You can also buy the bridge shot with either one of those ticket choices.

Hello.

I'm also thinking about buying the 3 day standard for £50.

I'm wondering what the 'Limited Edition Print' will be off, and how big?

Also, I really would like an estimate on the price of an autograph,
from 1 of the captains of my choice, in person?

Thanks.

I was pleasantly surprised, those prices look very reasonable compared to what they might have been. Good to see most of the guests at £15 and even Shatner only at £40. I had feared we might see a couple of the Captains at £50 or higher.

You find 40 pound for an autograph cheap? I'm glad Kate is 'only' 25 pounds, but that's for me still a high price. (my former idol gave me lots of autographs for no money at all)
D.S.T.L. was Great!

Friday @ Opening Ceremony =
Our chair was a bit in the back, but never the less... I saw her on stage! (meeting Kate first)

Saturday @ Photoshoot Time =
Queue was long (was present @ the queue around 17.20, photo was taken around 18,45) , my number was 666, choke her hand & said "Hi" *flits* (meeting Kate second)

Sunday @ Guest Talk Time =
her talk was very nice (perhaps talking to Kate third)

It's definitely reasonable enough. I've seen far higher in the US.

Maybe a strange question pops right into my head: how will all the guests know to how many autograph they must give per person?  You just say this yourself?

Good question as my wife will get an autograph for herself and for my niece. I like to know too.

There will be a table to pay at either close to the guest or beside the guest. They'll ask you how many and you should get a ticket.

I've heard of Shatner charging a lot more than that for autographs. £40 is also what I've seen Dave Prowse charge at a collectors fair before.

£40 for David Prowse!  he's put his prices up, I paid £10 LOL :D

However, I did pay £90 for Mark Hamill at the one and only event he has ever attended in Europe, and it's not unusual for Mr. Shatner to charge £50+

Whole event was a rip off. There was only him and one other guest too.

My experience is around £25 to £40 at autograph sessions, including photo, so not so far away from what I can expect here at DSTL. Have not desided if I will bring with me an item or buy photos at the event, I really dont care as I feel it will be a once in a lifetime adventure for me I will let it cost abit. :)

Mine have been £15 - £45 so far. I'll bring my own photo's, then I can decide when I get there whether to buy those available. Although I'd need to know the 6 autos I'm getting with my gold package to do so.

That sounds like a rubbish event! which event was that?

I must credit showmasters on this aspect of their prices, they are not over the top in my opinion. Meeting the captains and having an autograph is the most important part of the event for me!

FYI, I did ask a question about photos in the autograph hall in this forum before i bought my ticket and the mods told me it was allowed! :D I don't know why they deleted that thread as I would have thought it was useful info for everyone, but it was deleted as part of their cleanups! Every autograph I have ever collected over many years of collecting has a photo of me and whoever signed at the time it was signed so it was important to me to know I could carry on the tradition at this event! (well, apart from James Earl Jones, but that was at the theatre and he didn't have much time to spare me!)

I would say with about 99% certainty, that all 5 captains will have a no posed, or no photo sign up.

Murph, I was very specific when I asked the question before I bought my tickets! There has not been anything posted to the contrary. There is little point me attending this event without having that, I have been collecting for over a decade and never had a problem with anyone not posing for a photo when they have signed be it at a book signing, theatre or an event like this. I do admit though it's been a couple of years since I attended an event, which was why I asked in this forum in the first place. Like I said, I don't know why the mods deleted the post, but they did delete it after I replied to say thanks for the answer! :)

I've certainly known him to be £20 before. A lot of the smaller events basically invite guests who then handle the cash themselves and set their own prices. If they only had two guests its not a guest led event.
