I can confirm 1of2's reply. I was at his last appearance and he said it several times there and on his Twitter account. It was a rather teary farewell.
One of these centuries, I really must get around to joining the Procrastinators Club.

I second this, I was at his penultimate appearance and he was very tearful when he said goodbye and thank you for the memories. Most of the audience as in the same state, which is why he recieved such a long standing ovation.
