the price already reflects that, those who have VIP or Gold tickets will be at the front, they've paid more so they have priority seating, everyone else will be seated behind but I'm pretty sure standard seating wont have tiered pricing, this isnt a theatre as you've pointed out.

The entry ticket prices reflect that. We don't yet know how much the talk tickets actually cost on an individual basis. My point is that if they charge too much for the talk tickets separately that won't be good value for those of us that don't have access to 'priority seating' (and that includes the Silver ticket holders as well, who only get four of the captains talk tickets included with no mention of priority seating).

I don't think it's unreasonable to hope that the cost of a talk ticket should not exceed the price of a decent theatre ticket, especially as the standard ticket holders will be at the back with less of a view (presumably?). That's all I'm saying - not that I expect 'tiered pricing' for those seats.

this is why i will not be attending paid talks as I cannot afford gold or silver and I only have standard and considering I will be at the back... I dont see any point in paying for them.. I am just happy to meet them all at my auto signings and photoshoots  :blink:

I guess you have to decide if it's worth it to you to witness the talks, whether you are at the front or the back of the room. At conventions I often sit at the back of the room, by choice, even if there are seats nearer the front. I find that even if I'm sitting 3 rows from the front I often have to crane my neck to see past the people in front, and sitting at the back means I have more of a panoramic view, and nothing beats seeing actors I love talk "live". I'd rather be IN a room and watch a talk on the screen but hear them with my own ears, than hear others talk about it secondhand and probably miss some fantastic stories.

That's rarely announced in advance. It does contain some "goodies" that are only available to these ticket holders. At ME shows it's been coasters, some candy and other items. No guarantees it's the same at this show though.

I'm hoping that they don't, I love not knowing what's in goodie bags.

I can understand that. I don't mind paying for the talks: I actually don't expect any of the celebrity talks ('headline' guests or otherwise) to be completely free, but I think the prices for those of us who might inevitably be at the back should be reasonably affordable, especially if you want to go to more than one talk. If they charge a premium just to get in the auditorium I shall be following your excellent lead and confining myself to a few autograph signings.

I heard the Trek.FM interview with media 10 and came across this (not quoting word for word) ""People who have bought tickets where Captain Talks are included WILL BE ASSIGNED A DAY.""

I want to get GOLD tickets for me and my hubby at the end of the month, if I do so (assuming there are any left) will we be guaranteed the same days as each other.

As I'm enquiring for others as well, what about families all going gold, surely children won't be given different days to there parents, then there are people who are going as groups, one person I know is going with a partner and a friend and they all want to go to the same talks on the same days.

Both of my tickets will be bought together in one batch will that make a difference to your reply?

Please can you explain to me in a little more detail how this is all going to work, as this is one main thing that will make or break my decision to go GOLD with my hubby.

Thanks in advance for any and all replies...

Sorry if this has already been answered somewhere and I just missed it, PS I already used the contact us page, so gona see what email I get back from there as well just wanted to see what response  I get here too

Same for me i bought 2 platinum tickets i hope this doesnt mean my wife and i will be split up at the captains talks i will not be happy the price difference of 600 pounds between gold and platinum and just getting guaranteed autographs which judging by the interview means that we all the gold and platinums just get a time slot to q for them i might as well saved my 600 and got a gold ticket now with us might be being split up for talks is a bit much can someone tell us how we get to be on same day.

thank you

This is what I was sent in an email.

With regards to your concerns about the assigning of days to the captain's talks - this will take into consideration tickets that have been bought together - such as families, so children and parents are not seperated - we would assume children tickets and adult tickets will have the same booking reference (we can't see why children ticketswould not be bought on the same booking as an adult/parent?) so we are able as much as possible to ensure the captain's talks tickets are assigned appropriately - if there are any issues with our allocations so long as we are given enough notice (ie: not on the day!) we can go back to the allocation to help as much as we can to keep people together.

The reason we have to allocate which talk/day you go to is due to the demand we are expecting from non package ticket holders who wish to purchase seperate talktickets- aswe have a talk area capacity, we simply have to know what seats are available for each performance and as package holders are there for three days its easier for us to manage this by allocation, rather than taking the risk of everyone turning up for one talk and being left disapointed that they couldn't get in.

Hope this makes sense,

Regards
