I've had it confirmed that gold pass holders will get priority seating in all main stage talks/activitities.

yay !

Due to the ambiguous wording previously can you confirm:

Does "Main Stage" mean that will be ONE stage classed as the main stage and only talks / activites held on that stage will have priority queuing for Gold Pass members?

Does "priority seating in all main stage talks/activitities" mean that Gold pass members get priority seating in ALL talks.

Please clarify what constitutes "Activities".

any chance of confirmation on points 2 and 3.  Thanks

Question 2 has been confirmed on the last page.

Regarding question 3 there will be an update as soon as possible.

Maybe i worded this wrong, what I mean to ask is:

It says that Gold members get priority seating on all MAIN STAGE talks and activities.  What about the talks and activities NOT on the main stage (assuming there are more than one.)  What im asking for on clarification is whether Gold members get priority seating at ALL talks and activities regardless of where they are held.

Also as im new to these events could you clarify how the VQ system works in the following example:  I will be attending all 3 days.  I have booked captains photos for friday.  If I want to order captains signatures for that day I belive they will be available on the day.  So I assume I will go to the VQ "stand" to a get a virtual ticket for a particular time slot. (for example between 4-5pm - I appreciate I wont have a choice here.)  If i then go back at that point, will i get priority access as im a gold member?  If not will ijust have to stand in the queue until I get the signature.  And lastly (excuse my ignorance here) but if I was to arrive at 4pm and go to the VQ ticket booth, is it likely that I may not get a signature for the friday given the timescales.  I guess what im asking is, is there a benefit from a VQ ticket perspective of getting there earlier, or does it not matter if I have a gold pass.... Ill elaborate further if im not clear.

Thanks!

There has been no information on the stage situation, so I'm afraid this one can't be answered yet.

You are correct, autographs can't be pre-ordered. You pay for them on the day.

You have a Gold Pass. Gold Ticket holders do get priority scheduled queueing for the Captains. You will not need a Virtual Queue Ticket for them as a Gold Pass holder. You just show up during the time slot you are assigned.

If you want to get other autographs that require VQ tickets I personally would say 4 PM on Friday is cutting it tight. It's a large event and going from previous convention experience a larger number of attendees will try to get autograph done on Friday so they can enjoy more talks the other days.

Thanks for that..

I'm not actually turning up at 4pm i used that time just as a frame of reference thanks heavens!!! I'm actually getting into london in the morning just trying to figure out if I should get into my room (check in is 2pm) and THEN go to the Excel (im only in the IBIS 150 yards away!) or get there early to be near the front but have to carry my baggage with me!  im wondering if the difference between being near the front of the crowd and being near the back will make much difference to getting a decent VQ ticket time.

The organisers do not have any influence on the venue websites I am afraid. That happens frequently that an event is not showing up - for London Film and Comic Con it's kind of an annual event. ;)

Yes, the event is going ahead and will eventually (hopefully soon) show up on the ExCel website too.

So does the priority queuing therefore mean I get priority queuing for JUST photograph queues or for talk and photograph queues, and does this include other actor chats?

Sorry, I have to get back to you on that. Right now I only know the details as given in the online store.

No problem, Thanks

The priority queuing is for autographs only. This will be in place on any queue that has a VQ system in place.

Priority queing for the photoshoots and talks is not included in the gold pass. With the photoshoots you will need to have a photoshoot ticket and as long as you have that you will get your photo no matter what. With the talks you will have a designated area for yoru ticket type. So in both cases priority queing isnt essential.

Hope that helps.   :D

Thanks

a couple of final questions, I promise!

In the gold pass pack it says i get 6 "In Person photographs" included, so i assume that I wont need tickets for those?  Can I choose the 6 (not inc the captains I think) or will they be random and im assuming i will automatically get no queuing priority for those 6?

Thnaks for your efforts.

Greg

Hi Greg,

The 6 'in person' autographs will be allocated by us and won't include the captains. I'm not sure how we are going to work the queuing for them yet but obviously we will ensure that you are definitely able to get them and 'in person'!  :D

Let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks

Mark  :D

Is it possible for me to submit to you a list of guest autograph names that I DO NOT want allocated to me for guests that I have already met and have autographs for already ?

(for example, I already have Domanic Keating's autograph from a previous event and do not have Connor Trineer's and would be dissappointed if I was assigned Domanic's again and had to pay for Connor's).

There are still going to a quite a few guests that I haven't met yet that I hope to be allocated from my Gold Pass' selection to save me some money and hope that by supplying a list it helps both you in selecting an autograph list that keeps me happy.

This has already been asked/is under consideration. As of last week there was no reply, but it has been actively followed up.

Unless they have a finite number of guests (which they haven't stated yet) then there's still plenty to come over the coming months :)

Since I hate being subjected to randomness I think I would want to go with the regular 3-day pass and individually add the extras of my choice.
Only problem is - can I buy an upgrade that would grant me priority sitting? I want to have that but not a package with randomly assigned stuff.

I can only tell you what the current ticket levels are, sorry. I simply don't know if these options may be offered in the future. You could try contacting See Tickets at 0844 854 1355. They are dealing with the ticket sales.

I hope they don't offer it as an upgrade - there has to be some unique benefit to the special packages otherwise they would just become the sum of available extras and not financially viable as an option (and would then open up the flood gates to complaints lol)
