People who have not seen the finale should not be reading a thread about the finale It's your own fault if you come in knowing what the thread is here to discuss.

But I wont of course, as if I do discuss things I'll just get shouted at.

If the majority of posters here want to discuss freely I'll be happy to edit the topic title with "Warning, includes spoilers!" or something to that extend. Then everyone was warned.

That would be an excellent idea. Only because some people may not be too sure what it's about, I know it's very simple but still it would save any form of argument.

I saw the topic thismorning when it was just 'Walking dead finale'

And was SO tempted to look. I managed to refrain and have just finished watching it

Good finale but season 2 as a whole was rather mediocre in my opinion when compared to season 1

FYI when I first came in here it had no warning in the thread title letting anyone know if there was a chance of spoilers, that's no ones fault if there was no warning at first :)

Which btw, thankyou Starbug for editing it to say spoilers coz I stayed away till I watched it today after work and it was amazing. My guess at what the scientist told Rick was dead on yay :) ((worked that out at the beginning of season 2))

Really enjoyed the last 3-4 episodes of the season but it kinda dragged on a bit beforehand (especially before the mid-season break).

Think I have to agree that this season was slower than the first, but then, it was double the length!

Personally, I enjoyed the whole season. They had to build characters and relationships otherwise some of the things that happened wouldn't have had such an emotional pull.

I can see it from both sides though. I know a few people who stopped watching it because it was too slow for them. Boy did they missed out!


Was SO praying that what Jenner had said was't going to happen..... but hey. It made it damn exciting!

Ricktatorship. I hate Rick but I suppose that any of the comic fans will understand why he's turned into a grade A idiot. Shane... *sob*. At least Daryl didn't die. And LORI. Jesus can she please look after her kid a little better? And also After Rick killed Shane she went all 'get away from me' on her husband when she'd told him to kill Shane? IADASJDMNSADNASKJD damn you inconsistent script writing.

Rick is one of the few characters I still like, although the finale did set a few back to being badass for me.

My apocalypse team would so be Rick, Hershal, Daryl and Glenn

And so glad Shane is gone now. He was really becoming a reason for me to hate the show. But then they were going for that anyway by the end. Villain within the group.

Now all we need to do is lose Lori and I'll be pretty happy. Worst character on the show for me.


Next season looks great too. Michonne (all I hear is good stuff from the comic), the prison, the govener. Probably the return of Merle (great character stuff for Daryl then).

And finally the Ricktatorship! I'd follow him!

I like all characters except Lori and Carol, I hope they get rid of them soon. Lori just bugs me lol, can't put my finger on it yet.
I personally find Carol to be extremely annoying and useless, except when it comes to Daryl :// I love Andrea and the
way she kicks ass haha. Season 2 was a little slow but the end made up for it. Over all still love the show :)

Finger on it? How about not keeping track of her own kid after an initial 'go upstairs'? Or the constant bugging of Rick to do this or that and then getting angry at him for doing it? Or the constant back and forth with Shane telling him to both stay away and that she still cares for him and that it will never be his child but oh it just might be?

Or the fact that she is the only person who could drive after the apocalypse on empty roads and still 1) hit someone and 2) crash

Or that she wants to be a modern, post-apocalyptic woman who isnt stuck in old stereotypical values yet tells other females to do the dishes?

Well obv those are some of the things that annoy me :/ lol
What I meant is that there's something else about her as well, I can't put
my finger on it. Kinda like when you meet someone for the first time and for no
apparent reason they get your back up? She's like that for me.

i wish they killed lori instead of shane the tension would of been better in season 3 if they keeped shane alive shane and daryl were the best in season 2 for me

Nah, I really hated Shane and his bull too. At first it was good tension, by the end it was just a horrible mess of a story.

They needed to thin the main cast a little too in terms of making the show more streamlined too. A lot of complaints (yes the show gets some lol) were about there not being much going on, with a lot of eps bogged down in characters.


Plus Shane already survived way longer than his comic counterpart lol Outstayed his welcome in my books.
