latest guest is Mr Ron Punter , this man was as specialist painter that worked in the art department , he looked after special projects and was in charge of chroming C3PO and painting Darth Vader and maintaining these costumes on all 3 films , everyone knew him on set as he worked for months before shooting getting the outfits ready for filming and then every day working on keeping C3PO looking good for each days shoot , he helped choose the paint for Vader picking the silver for the face , as well as Star Wars Ron also work on Flash Gordon and was picked as there was so much chrome needed for that film, Ron was not just a painter he helped to develop the chroming of the plastic, metal, and fiberglass ,which in 1976 this was a big task and took real science to work out , we are very much looking forward to talking to Ron who is one of the films unsung heros and gave the final look of two of the films main characters Darth Vader & C3P0 which with out him would not have been possible
