There seem to be quite a few people with questions about how things work at LFCC. I've posted some links below that should answer some of your questions. I've also added a few questions and answers at the bottom.

There will probably be more questions asked but it may be worth looking through these to see if you can find the answer first. The links below will take you into the official FAQs.

Other miscellaneous questions (no links, just questions and answers). This is the unofficial bit.

Q If I buy a standard entry ticket, can I upgrade to an early bird on the day?
A Yes you can. Join the pay on the day queue when you arrive and pay the difference at the ticket booth. You will need to make sure you have your standard ticket with you

Q When will we know what times photo shoots and talks are?
A A schedule is normally published a week or two before the event

Q Will I be able to get a photo with the guest at the autograph table?
A This will vary from guest to guest. If there are no posed photos or no photos allowed at all, there will be a sign up at the entrance to the guest's signing area

Q Will the guests be personalising?
A This will vary from guest to guest. The best option is to ask the crew at the signing area.

Q Will I have to bring my own items to be signed or will there be some pictures provided?
A There will be a selection of 10 x 8 photos at each guest's signing area to choose from

Q Can I bring my own items to be signed?
A Yes you can

Q What is the maximum number of autographs I can buy from a guest?
A For the busier guests, there is normally a limit of five. For those who are not too busy you may be able to get more

Q What happens if I have clashes with photoshoots or a photoshoot or talk?
A Speak to the crew at the photoshoot area and they will do their best to help/advise you

Q If I go outside and want to go back in later on, do I have to pay again?
A No. A crew member will stamp the back of your hand so that you can get back in without paying

Q Can I ask a guest for a particular pose at a photoshoot?
A For the busiest guests, probably not. For those who do not have such a long queue it may be possible

Q How many people can be in the photo with the guest?
A It is one ticket per person so if there are two of you, you will need two photoshoot tickets and the photographer will take two photos

Q How soon are photos back after photoshoots?
A Normally about two hours after the photoshoot ends

Q Can I have my photo in electronic format instead of a paper copy?
A At the moment this is not an option

Q What if I can't stay to collect my photo?
A You can complete a slip with your details at the photo collection table and your photo will be posted out to you. There is usually a charge of £2 for this.

Q Are we allowed to take photos in the guest talks?
A Generally speaking, flash photography is allowed for the first couple of minutes only. After that, if you want to take photos you need to make sure the flash on your camera is switched off. THERE IS NO VIDEOING OF TALKS ALLOWED.

Q Who do I speak to if I have a problem at the event?
A Speak to one of the pit bosses. They are the crew members with red t-shirts on and they will do their best to help you

Q Can I pay for my autographs by credit/debit card?
A Yes you can. There are vouchers available which you can buy with your credit/debit card from the organisers booth. You then use the vouchers to pay for your autographs at the signing area instead of cash.

That's all I can think of for now. If/when I think of anything else I'll add it.

Karen, thanks this reminded me the FAQs hadn't been brought forward from the previous LFCC.

If there are any new questions missing from it please let me know.
