dreampixie Posted January 9, 2012 Share Posted January 9, 2012 I have booked my gold ticket not long ago and just started thinkng about the hotel and everything else, i have an idea how much i need to save up for the hotel but how much shall i save up for food and other spending? I actually took a lot of snacks, sandwiches etc with me to eat in my room over the weekend to keep costs down and there's a McD's down the road and a pub not far away which people say does really good food. Don't forget the cost of the car park as well if you drive to the hotel, it is about £14 per day. Drinks at the parties were very expensive - £4 for a bottle of beer (not even a pint) although there did seem to be plenty of free water available. I got lucky on the transport (although being driven down by an obssesively protected dad, maybe not so lucky).
