But 2012 is a leap year there is an extra day

But i may have confused myself, shouldnt there be 358 ....

There's still only 7 days in a week. Today is Friday, and HW4 starts on a Friday, so the total number of days has to be exactly divisible by 7. 357 days = 51 weeks. QED. :unsure:
