Very selfish , but voted for Southampton only as closest to me.

How about Bournemouth , BIC would be ideal for an event!

I think Bath can certainly be classed as a beautiful city (I much prefer it to Bristol), but not ideal for these events. I agree Bristol is the better choice out of the two.

That's what my first thought was when she mentioned it. I just thought that Bath's not a place a convention could be held (unless it's a small one, lol!), and Bristol would be more likely to be thought of as a possible venue, and more central for people to get to.

I would love one that's in the middle of the country(ish) and near to Leeds...but that might be influenced by me living in Leeds

I went for Manchester, Sheffield and Leeds

Purely and simply for the fact that they are the ones closest to where I live and work!!!!

So I voted Swindon and Bristol - preferable Bristol because it takes 30 minutes on the bus to get to and then Swindon isn't too far or too much on the train plus a friend lives there.

Plus Bristol is more central for most to get to - and easy for me to get there :)

b - Cardiff (be great to finally have  a welsh signing event)

c - Bristol (easy to get to for me)

I have to fly in so every bigger town would be good (cheaper and more frequent flights). Birmingham and London are pretty easy to reach for me.

SM did that already...it didn't pan out all that well!    it's not all that easy to get to if you come by any other menthod other than by car! and there's nothing else really there!

atleast if it was Birmingham (which is expensive to get to from London, an open return is £45! , but, only like 1hour40mins or something) there is the city centre not all that far away from the NEC so people who come as a family have the option of shopping (not that I'm sure the NEC is an option  )

i was dubious about voting for this. I'm happy with what we have. I'm not local to any, but i can get to london, birmingham and milton keynes. The rest are out of my way, except norwich. I'd love norwich, but don't think i could expect big guests like I do at london, so I prob wouldn't go. I.d rather travel for a great show, as opposed to an average one on my door step, I think most fans that spend the money would agree

I live in Leeds so I picked Manchester Sheffield and Leeds but I think Birmingham would also be a good place as it's pretty central and a lot of hotels there which I think Leeds lacks.

I also wouldn't mind Cardiff would be great for Wales to have one and It would be a nice weekend trip :)

But as others said these three would enable me to spend a whole lot less on travel costs/hotels and therefore I'd be able to spend a whole lot more in the Con.

i voted 1) Edinburugh 2) Carlise 3) Newcastle i think it would be great to have a second event in or near scotland as there is only one event held here and we are really thankful and it is a great convention and has proved really popular i think a second convention in edinburgh or newcastle would prove just as popular

Why aren't Milton Keynes or London on these lists?

The MK Dons stadium holds a juicy Collectormania, and nothing beats chilling amongst the broskis after a mental trauma which can only be brought on by London traffic. :) <3
