Totally agree. in fact all the crew with Karen and Alex today were great. There was a little girl near the front of Alex's queue and she was being brilliantly entertained while we waited.

If that was at the very start of the day before Alex arrived then it that might have been me. The little girl was wearing a blue Chinese style dress - and she kept me just as entertained.

Clare

That's it. I was standing just behind her and her dad. You made what could have been a frustrating and boring wait great fun. That girl seemed so excited and I'm sure will have great memories of the day.

And didn't the dad teach us something, about laying your fingers down, bending the third in or something and not being able to physically move a finger up because it's linked to an aorta or something?

Yes he did. That was soooooo weird - how you couldn't move it, unless you physically lifted it. I will be trying that out with my friends.

Unfortunately I couldn't go on Saturday and it sounds like Karen Gillan was great. Do the really big guests ever come two years in a row?

I wouldnt say they would come two years in a row as showmasters try to vary it up, especially for the big guests.

It was a fab show though wasnt it :P

I'd never say never, as I doubt many of us expected Alex Kingston back so quickly, if at all .. but yes, I'd agree that they do generally try to have different lineups.

I know what you mean David, but I took the question to be referring to next years LFCC rather than another showmaster/massive event, yes guests have sometimes attended another show very quickly.

I would just like to thank ALL of the attendees, because without you attending, I wouldnt have spent the last 10years spending the odd weekend with some of the best people in the world (my friends)

And Team Karen, because this machine was well oiled and we were insane with that effort....

I'd actually like to thank the door staff for ensuring I was not left outside with my bike with s***loads of photos in my backpack once they had started to come back.

Also a big thank you to my other runners, Megan and Dan - I'd have been truly broken if I hadn't had you with me.

Of course last thanks to SM - thank you for an enjoyable weekend despite still not being able to walk properly yet and I'll gladly cycle again in October (at least it'll be cooler).

I want to thank three crew members in particular. I know Yvie was one. I was the woman in the green fleece Sunday morning waiting for 2 and a half hours, nearly three, for Corey, and they kept offering me a seat, and seemed happy to chat with me during a long wait. For the one who said I was awsome a couple times; I have a lot of patience, lol! The kindness of the crew nearly brought me to tears, lol! So many many thanks to you all if you see this.  :(

You're a crazy lady, but I was so pleased that you got your time with Corey after your mammoth wait :D

Kayla was the guest assistant assigned to him and Kelly was the Pit Boss who told me that she'd held the queue back for a moment so you could get a decent payoff for your vigil, so they're probably the other two you wanted to thank :P
The new Massive Events Online Shop chick - I pre-game harder than you party.

Shop queries should be sent to: info@collectormania.com
Please help me out and include an event name and order number in the email (pref the subject line), I'm good at ticket-detective work, but it isn't fun trying to guess which event you're going to ;o)

Just assume that I've already called "SHOTGUN!!!" on all hot men attending SM/ME events as guests, crew, attendees or otherwise cuz it's so much easier that way and will lead to fewer fights.

I must add my thanks to the crew who made everything run smoothly, and were always polite and friendly.

Big thanks to all of those who were crewing Alex's autograph line, and keeping us up to date as to when Alex was expected to arrive.
The best laugh I had of the day was the lady who was shouting "Virtual Queue tickets for Alex Kingston" and then she shouted out "Virtual Queue tickets for Karen Gillan"!
Thanks for that!

:YAHOO: That was me :D

I had a little bit of a special moment there.

And I though I was going to get away with that :pyth:

Thanks to the female crew member who helped us out when we came running over breathless and late for our Brent Spiner photo, and sorted us with a make up session! Thank you!!! I missed the Christopher Lambert talk for it, but it was worth it!

Your welcome! It so totally would have been a crime to go home without it!
