Wow £52. Too rich for me if each season is going to be that price. But it does look amazing what they've done with it.

I know that at some point it will be much cheaper, then re-released as a complete 1-7 series boxset, and a slimline version.

I still want it now though. I need to have a chat with myself

I think it's worth it for the time and effort they're putting into it. They're not half-arsing it with some dodgy upscale crap and bad transfer.

I was impressed with the screenshots, and even moreso when watching the sampler disc. This is the kinda stuff this medium was made for.

Well if you can afford it, go for it. I'll have to wait. Big expenditure buying long-running TV series. Would love to see Stargate SG-1 converted in the same way but don't suppose it'll ever happen.

Compared to the £130 the episodes would have cost on VHS, the (RRP) £85 the first DVD boxes cost it's a downright steal.

£2 an episode.

I'm still waiting for the Original Series Blu Rays to come down in price - I've not seen them below £40 per season. Considering I paid around £10 per season for DS9 & Voyager on slim-line DVD, I'm loathe to spend too much on the Blu Rays (particularly as I don't have a Blu Ray player yet).

Just ordered TNG season 1 for £41.60. HMV have for £52, but a code for this weekend H8BLU20 is 20% off blu.

I might get 5% cashback too (http://www.topcashba...ember3714114945) and I still have the £5 refund from the teaser disc.

So that works out as costing me £33.80.
