Thomas started his career at Wrexham where he made a total of 230 appearances. In 1978 he moved to Manchester United where he made 110 appearances scoring 15 goals and collecting an FA Cup Runners -Up medal in 1979. After United Thomas played for a host of other teams before finishing his career at Wrexham where in 1992, at the age of 37, he scored one of the goals that put Arsenal out of the FA Cup! Mickey Thomas also obtained 51 caps for Wales between 1976 and 1986. He counts scoring a goal for Wales against England as one of the most memorable moments of his career!
