new series looks good, although I fear jamie bamber might not make it past the 1st ep from some of these teasers on the site which is a shame, he is a brilliant actor.
I would like to meet the tart who just complained about me! if its you, come say hi! p.s I paid £180 entry to LFCC 2011, is that free?

spoilers for episode 1, ----------------------------

WTF i knew it, I knew from the trailers that annoying scots woman would somehow do in bamber, I was actually enjoying it but im p****d off about bamber. unless he wanted to die there is no way she would of got the drop on him, makes no sense. maybe its cos I dont like her character that much. and like bamber alot. humm yer agree with tony, some of the cast are miscast especially bambers no 2 who cant act lol, isnt he the guy who was a rapper and did a series of hustle? though some of the cast are great, i thought some of it was brilliant but other parts drawn out and dull, nice plot twists being set up. but im really p*****d off about bamber, so might not watch past ep 2.

He's filming the fa superior Law and Order UK so he was always only going to be in one episode.

I didn't watch tonight, even with Bamber's death, it was way to boring for me to care about it very much!!, others may love it but it's a no-no for me, The BBC trying there best but it failed imo!

i dont think his character was dealt with well, i mean somehow they can get close to him not even trying to be quietly lol (this hero soldier, harder than hard) then somehow she manages to draw and kill him  when he has already proven he is fast and well trained. i dunno maybe im more upset cos it was bamber lol

I think its half brilliant and interesting and half boring dullness,

the guy playing jack cant really act and is a little unconvincing in his role so far

spoilers for ep 2

episode 2 was ok, again half of it im loving, liam cunningham and hermanie norris are superb. the music and directing is good. but half of it is a little boring, a little dull and other actors are horribly miscast. and I still miss jamie bamber lol. i do like my scifi hard hitting and dark with emotion rather than silly colourfull and fun. (having a mix is good though) so im gonna stick with this show for now, need a bit more pace and action though

one thing, how can advanced clone built for survival and following bambers character in the past not know how to use a gun? found that to be stupid, especially when there leader does. makes no sense, and what was that scene about, if they were not gonna kill em why place em on there knees? why mess around with signals? and why walk away without the baby, arghhh that whole sequence made little sense, seemed a vehicle to show cas had a hard dark side and little more, the choreography in that scene also seemed off

disapointing show, almost as bad as Primeval.    problem - many people to get to know, explain first whats gone on, why that planet, why are there so far no other nationalitys other than british.  I know we are great but I doubt we would be the ones colonizing planets.  Firefly tells us this.

I would hope that in the future we would have better guns also.  have the writers not watched Dr Who, come on outcast writers lets have some futuristic tech, guns.    might as well set this show in post apocolyptic earth rather than space.  We did see the brain scan thing thats quite cool, marks for that.

I think they have watched too much lost, as there are some concepts being brought in for example haven could be the hatch, plane crash people and then you have  "the others" the clones who now want to kill the people inside haven, big planet, whats in haven that they want.     Also, Killing bamber off in the first episode, nooo,  he's a great actor a big asset to the show, so why kill him off so early on. :WINCE:  unless hes a clone and we see him again..

anyhow, on the positive side, at least the main cast are good at what they do and know how to deliver, what so far is a poor programme, shame.
You are unique just like everyone else.
I toast therefore, I am
That's no moon!!!
The hobbits are going to Isenguard..da da da dum de dum.

Watched the first couple of episodes and am not sure yet whether I like it or not.

Seems a bit slow and disjointed at the moment. Some of the actors could do with going for a few lessons and some of the characters are a bit unconvincing. I'm not sure what the plot is supposed to be yet (I'm assuming there is one lol).

Might be one of those shows that takes a while to warm up though so I'll give it another one or two episodes and then decide whether it's worth watching any more.

Have given up on this now. After about 20 mins last night (although it seemed a lot longer) I realised I neither knew what the hell was going on nor cared.

Shan't bother watching it again.

ive only watched the first 2 eps, the rest are waiting for me, but yer for me some of it I loved, some of it though is pretty poor or missed opportunity. and im still angry about bambers character.  will see how the next few eps are, will most likely stick with it for this series as its 7 eps right? after that well wwe will see.  how the first ep ended (after the travesty of bambers character) was actually brilliant i thought, the buring up ship on entry, the escape sutlles plumeting and the bad guy smiling on there way down, niclely cut, written, acted and scored that ending,

still dont like jack or fluer though, jack specifically is horibly miscast, the dude cant act very well. cass sometimes I like and I want to give meres the benefit of the doubt but too often he is just too cockney geezer for my liking.

now id have to rewatch but off the top of my head, they have been there for 10 years right? so many of them like cass, jack, fluer seem (or look) far to young to of had significant backstories before this, they look like 10 years ago they would be teenagers, not trained pioneers or grizzly killers. though have I got my time frames wrong?

I have recorded the episodes but haven't watched any yet.

It would be amusing if the ratings improve after moving it though.

BFGW is about 100 times more entertaining than this though.

It's lazy, unoriginal, and borrows all the worst bits from other far better shows.

For once the BBC are completely right.

entertaining in a simple way (the reality stuff)

though I do agree sometimes outcasts is lazy (think i mentioned that somewhere on here) and borrows from other shows, you are right there, but in the 2 episodes ive seen, its got some good stuff. will see how eps 3 and 4 are over the weekend.  still it almost lost me with bambers scene in ep one.
