Does anyone know if you pay a reduced parking rate if you are staying at the Hilton as the website says it costs £12 per day?

I think 12 pounds is the normal guest parking rate at the Hilton.

However, at Chevron 7.4 and ET they did have a slightly reduced parking rate for attendees. I think it was 7 pounds? I'm pretty sure something will be in place for this show as well.

I believe there was a disabled section right at the front of the carpark which always seemed to be empty, so you should be fine.

Edit - I have gone on google maps and looked at the satelite image and found 10 definite disabled parking spaces right at the front of the carpark, to the left of the hotel if you stand facing the hotel.

:D  :D I have a feeling that if you were stopping at the hotel you got a pass to get out, when you booked out. I'm not sure as that was 12 months ago.

I've searched through the Chevron 7.6 page http://massiveevents.../info.php?venue  and cannot see any mentions of what convention parking rates have been agreed.

Does anyone know what these are for this event please as I am trying to finalise my budget and figure out what I need to change/cancel due to lack of roommate

This has been discussed previously here

Nothing has been announced about convention rates since that though.

Usually if you're staying at the hotel the rate has been £7 per night

There is a disabled section at the front of the hotel but it gets very full depending on how many events are running at the hotel or the NEC.

Note that it is in another barriered area and you will need to let the hotel know to open it from the main gate.  As a solo driver, I've actually taken to having the hotel number programmed into my phone and letting them know I've arrived to have concierge let me into the disabled area.

Also there are only a certain number of official disabled bays with Chevrons, so the remainder of the barriered area are normal spaces and can mean uncomfortable squeezing in an our of the doors.

Hope that helps.

And where do I have to pay for this? At the desk when we check in?

That is why I'm taking the train as it works out cheaper then driving. Say £20 on petrol and then £21 for parking. My train ticket costs £14.40 open return.   :D
