SO happy Ian McKellen has been confirmed. I love the statement he made. (I wish Ian realised how much I detest Michael Gambon as Dumbledore..). The film wouldn't have been very enjoyable without Ian as Gandalf, he is Gandalf to me. Very please though :D

See now we all thought that because the Hobbit was being filmed in New Zealand  they would have it all sorted out, but it looks like they are trying to get new and fresh ideas.
