thedude57
i believe both 2D and 3D(seems with this 3d fad a 3D version will always be likely) Edited October 28, 2010 by the dude

BigSi13
Not sure that this is having a 2D release as none of the chains are advertising 2D..just 3D.
adriangill
Not sure that this is having a 2D release as none of the chains are advertising 2D..just 3D. VUE and Showcase have both versions listed. Although not every location is showing both.
thedude57
most cinemas will only be showing the 3D version - however 2D is being released in some cinemas (see odean and empire cinemas) but only across a very ltd number of cinemas
BigSi13
Not sure that this is having a 2D release as none of the chains are advertising 2D..just 3D. VUE and Showcase have both versions listed. Although not every location is showing both. The Showcase and Vue cinemas in Bristol are not showing 2D. Even the little Odeon on Union Street is just showing 3D. Sucks. I find the limited release a joke. I work in an Opticians and one of the most frequent requests we get is whether we will be doing prescription 3D glasses as the ones provided in cinemas are just too uncomfortable to wear over glasses. Not all glasses wearers can wear contact lenses, so it means a portion of the viewing public cannot view. I have only just had the chance to see the new Resident Evil film as it was released in 2D on DVD.
adriangill
Yes I noticed Bristol is 3D only. I haven't seen a 3D film yet (not unless you count Jaws 3D ) and being a glasses wearer I didn't know there was a potential issue, so thanks for the warning. Contact lenses? Putting something in my eye? Not going to happen for me!
thedude57
just watched it highly enjoyable movie extremely fun and entertaining flick, does not take itself serious and well worth watching, with lots of action, jokes and homages to the original series (love the Bruce lee sketch in kato's notebook) Jay chou is amazing as Kato Seth Rogen as normal acts well over the top but is funny 8/
