Lisa090982
Thinking I might just go for the travel lodge or something. What other hotels are nearby? Sorry but over £80 a night? Nahhhh. Its reasonable considering booking it direct with Hilton is way over 100 - plus other hotels nearby are the same price, if not more.... and it includes breakfast!! It's also convenient to be at the convention hotel - you just crawl to bed without having to walk somewhere really late or pay for taxis back and forth!!! Moderators DavidB Posted August 24, 2010 Moderators Share Posted August 24, 2010 I booked a double David Hmm ok. I just looked on there and it said Singles or Twins. Guess I'll try again No double rooms at all? Yeah there are twin rooms..are is double different to that? Twin is two singles I think.
Lisa090982
Its only gone up by £6 a night - which considering the price of everything generally increases year on year, its still very reasonable I think!!
HohoCullen
I booked a twin :)
SacredSilence
They dont charge you until check out, and then you can choose how to pay, whether it be cash, debit or credic card. Or thats what happened at et3 But does it affect your limit on your card until then? I`m trying to clear my CC so don`t want to whack it up again especially if I don`t actually end up going :/ (I will have to book 2 twin rooms you see = EXPENSIVE!) No double rooms at all? So no Twin rooms either? Haha I spose I should actually go look myself huh
Moderators DavidB Posted August 24, 2010 Moderators Share Posted August 24, 2010 I get "Please note, there are no one-bedded rooms available." which I find very strange. Never had that happen with previous events.

Lisa090982
Maybe SM will be able to contact Hilton and get some added - or let us know if there will be doubles available? I can't see them not having any doubles at all....... Maybe drop them an email?
