bus routes along the way?

Hello,

Although the Sheraton is awesome and we`ve stayed there before, money is tight at the moment so we are looking at alternative hotels in the area. I`ve found a premier travel inn on Bath road and they are doing their annual "stay for £29" deal for that weekend which would be ideal.

However, on my first con a few years ago, i made a rookie error and booked the premier travel inn as it was the cheapest hotel in the area, not realising it was a fair walk from the thistle. I was expecting to be able to withdraw money at the thistle or nearby lol as the cash machine in the travel inn was broken, but i ended up stuck at the premier for the whole weekeknd as i used the little cash i had on me on cabs from the station to the hotel to the thistle etc and all the cash machines in the area were out of action and so missed the con!

So i was wondering, was there a bus route that ran along the bath road, from the premier to the thistle? Cabs would be expensive, although i`m happy to walk, i don`t think my partner will be! :(

Any help appreicated, i have done a local web search but i`m useless at reading bus maps!

Though I live locally I'm not actually that sure (as I don't usually head down that way) but I'm pretty sure that the 285 runs along Bath Road :(

*EDIT .....I Googled it a couple minutes back and this looked pretty helpful (at least I hope it is) http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g1912...ex_England.html

Thank you muchly! The link was helpful, i do remember a bus stop within the vicinity of the travel inn so hopefully that one is a 285!

Edit- me and my boyfriend just booked the premier travel inn, 3 nights for £89, if the offer is still on by the time you read this, if anyone is interested, the linky for the hotel is here
