Hopefully this will give the series the fresh restart it needs!

This is a bit of a surprise! I can't watch it right now as i'm at work, but i've been following the (supposed) making of the 3rd movie for years now and didn't think anything had actually been made of it :s

It's more of a concept thing at the moment apparently rather than a full trailer, but if they carry on the way they are it's looking damn good.

Just been reading about it, looks as though it's probably just a tie in to the new game, which would make sense as there were rumours they were going to premiere it at E3 this month

From AICN: http://www.aintitcool.com/node/45406

"Turns out the FAME remake's Kevin Tancharoen directed it as a test to try to get WB behind him and his crew."

I liked the first movie, have a soft spot for it. the second annialation was awfull. total s**T laughable even. never saw the tv series, to be honest didnt even know there was one lol
when I was a kid I liked the game also .

A hard bloody big budget 18 film would be good. cant see it happening though (aside low budget straight to dvd)
I would like to meet the tart who just complained about me! if its you, come say hi! p.s I paid £180 entry to LFCC 2011, is that free?

First convention LFCC 2009

Im known as Mr Photo shoot   "the original you might say!"

"Let us therefore brace ourselves to our duties, and so bear ourselves, that if the British Empire and its Commonwealth last for a thousand years, men will still say, This was their finest hour."

"The quest for the grail is not archeology, it's a race against evil. If it is captured by the Nazis, the armies of darkness will march all over the face of the earth"

"There are some corners of the universe which have bred the most terrible things. Things which act against everything we believe in. They must be fought!"

Actually just managed to watch it, wasn't overly impressed to be honest. It was well enough made, but had absolutely no similarity with what we know of the MK universe, for me anyway and i'm a lifelong MK fan. I did love the first movie though, whereas people nowadays don't really seem to. For me in this Sonya wasn't Sonya, Baraka wasn't Baraka. I was waiting for the creepy Reptile that people had been commenting on and had to watch it again to realise who Reptile was supposed to be. Not really my vision of Mortal Kombat
