ME have worked around filming schedules for many guests in the past, and had them fly practically straight from set to the con, so it doesn't really say much either way. gemma85 Posted May 31, 2010 Share Posted May 31, 2010 I would be absolutely thrilled if one of the boys got announced but I feel that getting one of them let alone both for a first event is not that likely. I could be completely wrong and SM/ME could easily get one of them but personally i think it's best if we just assume they wont be there because then we can only be pleasantly surprised if they do come!! tenshidarkangel Posted June 17, 2010 Share Posted June 17, 2010 All i will say because i beleive it shouldnt be said if they are in talks with J + J cause it could lead to disappointment is that the other cons round the same date which are specialised Supernatural UK cons havent got them either so far so i would asume they are busy i do beleive that series 6 is the last series however so maybe next time? Someone said the boys confirmed they would start shooting Season 6 from June 30th and run until the end of March 2011 at an event. Apparently Jensen also mentioned he is directing the first episode they are set to shoot (though it will be the third episode screened). Excellent thanks for the info Its a pretty lengthy time for filming and they are doing other cons during that time, so i would never totally rule it out. Plus when they say they are in talks with them, they probably are in talks, just nothing can be confirmed yet. Even if they were in talks that came to nothing, something could change between ending those talks and the event that would mean new talks would be fruitful. I've never known SM to just give up when it comes to trying for guests. Nicely said. Maybe some remember what happened with Patrick Stewart's appearance at C16. An advert with him showed up before any announcement, then SM confirmed things didn't work out after all, and a couple of weeks later things changed back (including a few possible switches in appearance dates) and he appeared in the end. It's a lot harder to get them over here unless they've finished filming, because it obviously takes a lot longer for them to travel here and back.
