A years too long

Waiting a whole year between each hallowhedon is FAR too long.

So i've been thinking, there should be another whedon event around april time (6months before/after each hallowhedon) each year to break it up and stop our heads exploding with impatience (or is that just mine lol)

How would the rest of you feel about it?

 

Twilight fans get two a year so I figure so should us whedonians!

The sucess of Hallowhedon 1 should hopefully show that the fans are still out in force for it

As for guests, theres way more main and recurring actors/actresses from the whedonverse shows than with twilight so it should be do-able i think. ok so i know nothing about the logistics of running a con, but from this fans point of view it should be workable.

Plus i think doing one earlier in the year would mean more people would be available to come as at the end of the year people are more reluctant to spend money what with holidays recently being had, xmas looming, back to school stuff for the students amongst us. Plus a lot of companies are far more strict about time off being taken around that time of year as it is the start of the busy period.

So what do the rest of you fans think? If SM will consider it, would you come?

I voted for 2 a year despite being very unsure that I'd be able to afford both (especially if we manage to keep the numbers up enough to keep the currently twice-yearly Hub events going)

I only voted for one. I'd love 2 but there's no way i'd be able to afford both and i'd be annoyed if the one I couldn't go to had better guests.

I think people have the chance to go to other events through the year for various shows and it would be far too much for the guests and for the events organsisers to arrange 2 a year. So I voted just Hallowhedon. Im attending Bitten as well as will many other be and people have a choice to join in with other event conventions if they want to.

[/b] If we had two a year, even if you couldnt afford both it would still be better! Because we dont exactly get the best guests like in the USA so if there was two, we could go to which ever one we preferred with our preferred guests!
