..but has anyone seen the guests for a certain LA Conventon in the US? Stan Lee, Kevin Smith, Dan Quesada, Alex Ross plus virtually evry single big name in comics. Obviously Wizard are a massive company but I'm hoping Showmasters can still provide us with some major comic foks!
Come on Showmasters I have faith!

I would love to see any of the above you mentioned, add to that list Todd Mcfarlane and Clive Barker and anyone who works on the marvelous new he-man comics and The Kore.

Well, with all the hoopla thats been going on here recently, I didn't want my message to be read in a bad light....the last thing that I would want anyone to think was that i didn't appreciate the efforts SM have gone to and that realize their limits as a company, not only in size compared to someone like Wizard but also in terms of unfortunate geographical location for getting certain comic guests.

Essentially, I sought to prevent any arguement before it began!

isn't it a shame that you feel you have to be so cautious

Well, I welcome all views but I would just like a pleasant conversation about comic artists/ writers who could possibly be invited to LFACC without anyone thinking I wasn't greatful for what we already have (I'm a big LOTR nut but appreciate all efforts made to cater for everyone!).

Come on people, just chill and let things take their course! Remember, the more support the con receives the bigger and better it will become!

Well I have no doubt that once LFACC is up and running, and a proven success, then more and more guests, both from film and comics will be accessible! I think we all know that the cons in US are gonna have more big name guests because they're all over there, but I think C4 proved to us all that things are possible ... we've seen how Collectormania has grown - just compare C1 to C4! and that's only in such a short time .. I think LFACC will grow in the same way

Exactly...only San Diego Comic Con has had both Wood and Astin and that is the biggy of them all. I'm still intrigued to find out what comic guests SM have in store for us....or how many for that matter???

....... they were both at C4, unless I imagined meeting them. But yeah, you don't get that kind of opportunity often :)

Dude, I can't *wait* to see what comic names Showmasters can pull out of the bag for us, any *one* of the names you mentioned would have me dribbling, maybe even Jhonen Vasquez or Roman Dirge...

One of the biggest Comic conventions in the USA is the same weekend as LFCC, so it might be hard to get very many artists  to come over, from the USA, for LFCC.
