"The power of the printed word unites the author's and the reader's imaginations to create a unique vision. Entire worlds can be carried around inside these small, cheap, paper objects that don't need plugs, modems or speakers. Books have survived for centuries; cinema is an upstart by comparison!"

"i couldnt leave him. not there!"

All was well.

For me it's a combination of 'I don't want to wait' and 'I want to truly be able to watch them whenever I want, not just when it is on or in the few days it will be on watch again services'.

(None of my US shows tend to be watched on UK tv these days...)
Attended: Hub2 (S86), Hub3 (S9), CM:London 2009, Hub4 (S2), Invasion Spring 2010 (ST128), Bad Wolf 2010 (ST68), Roadhouse (S1), Hub5 (S2), Hallowhedon2 (S20), Hub6 (S2), Hallowhedon3 (S1), Hub7 (S68), Hub8 (S6), Hallowhedon4 (S1)
Crewed: CM16, LFCC 2010, CM:London 2010, CM17, LFCC 2011, Sportsmania 2011, CM18, LFCC 2012, CM Glasgow 2012, EMS 2012, Autographica 2012, Star Trek London, Eternal Twilight 9
Definitely Attending/Crewing: CM19, Chevron 8.0, LFCC 2013, Hallowhedon5
Possible/Probable: CMG 2013, CFCC 2013, CM20

The vids I saw of him from other cons were AWESOME! He seems like so much fun. Was awesome in Band of Bro's too. And the Trickster(the big G) is an epic character. Would love to see him there!

Viva la Minionlution!!!!!!!!

Am so hyper right now for Roadhouse!

I'd love to meet Richard. The Trickster is such a great character & Richard plays it brilliantly. He was awesome in the season 5 episode. That's all I'll say. I don't want to ruin it for people that haven't seen it yet. Love him. xo

The first time I wasn't even intending to buy a photo with him, but after seeing his stage talk, I rushed out to buy one  :P .

I would definitely get my boxset signed too - such a fab series.

I found something on the HBO boards a while ago posted by Skip Muck's neice, telling how Richard tracked down her family to talk to them about Skip in preparation for the role. The story that Skip tells in the series about swimming the Niagra river was true - it was something that Skip's sister told Richard, and he got the scriptwriters to put it into the script. One really weird coincidence - the family that Saving Private Ryan is based on (the family who lost three sons in the war so had their fourth sent home from the frontline) came from the same town as Skip and at school he was best friends with the real Private Ryan (though that wan't the family's real name). The part about the platoon having to search Ryan to bring him home is fictional however - he was located by a chaplain without any drama. I guess that wouldn't have made much of a movie though.
