gotta be star wars for me. Celebration Europe was MASSIVE So with the right guests could be a very exciting and profitable event, theres so many people involved over six films to fill up any hall
I can't be bothered to update my signature with who I have met, I know lazy me!

im surprised how strong merlin is doing, i started watching series 1 but although i like the whole arthur lancelot melin thing in movies and tv it was a bit to modern, clean, hollyoaks style and cheesey much like the recent robinhood series, though merlin was better in my opinion. now it wasnt bad just nothing special, and like with heroes for me my freeview missed some recordings and i never got back into it. but it has a strong following on this forum, though I do wonder if thats with the younger fans though?

might try and check series 2 out online, but still cant beat a trek con and im sure a trek con would be more popular in ticket sales
I would like to meet the tart who just complained about me! if its you, come say hi! p.s I paid £180 entry to LFCC 2011, is that free?

First convention LFCC 2009

Im known as Mr Photo shoot   "the original you might say!"

"Let us therefore brace ourselves to our duties, and so bear ourselves, that if the British Empire and its Commonwealth last for a thousand years, men will still say, This was their finest hour."

"The quest for the grail is not archeology, it's a race against evil. If it is captured by the Nazis, the armies of darkness will march all over the face of the earth"

"There are some corners of the universe which have bred the most terrible things. Things which act against everything we believe in. They must be fought!"

Section 3 is annoying, the ones I actually really want to go to are all in that section, I think I'll have to see how the poll goes before voting

I know a good amount of people purchased for Hallowhedon because they wanted Firefly guests though, so I don't think that's really a problem.

There's probably a good amount of people who want to meet Firefly guests and not be that bothered about other Whedonverse guests, like me :D I like Dollhouse, but I've not seen Buffy in years so don't consider myself a fan anymore, and I've never seen Angel, so those guests don't do anything for me. I'd certainly not pay to go to Hallowhedon in the hope I'd meet one or two Firefly guests.

Yeah, that's certainly possible. Not sure if there's enough to warrant a separate convention on top of those who would go to Hallowhedon too though, and elsewhere.

I guess we're all different

Apologies, David, I meant no harm, should have read the rules more accurately. *hangs head in shame*

About Merlin, I am 23 and I know several people who are in their 20s and over and completely love the show and its stars. So it's not just the younger fans! :) It seems to appeal to a wide range of people, all for different reasons I'm sure.

The reason it's getting a lot of votes is probably due to the high likelyhood of getting a good guest line up. The main cast have been wonderful at the few events they've taken part in, and in my opinion would be great at a con.

I'd love to see a CSI type weekend.

Or maybe some sort of a crime convention - you include everything from Ashes to Ashes, to CSI, to Starsky & Hutch or even Murder She Wrote and Diagnosis Murder!

I voted for Supernatural, James Bond and Merlin. I'd go to a Supernatural or Merlin convention but I had to vote in the second section even though I wouldn't really go to any of them. Merlin and Supernatural conventions would be ace though  :WINCE:

Merlin, Supernatural and LOTR cons would be such a success. Many of the other fandoms would be good to get guests for at signing events, but I don't think would support the weight of a full weekend.

I went with Flashforward, BSG and Firefly/serentity (although it was a tough call with Glee there too!)

I love flashforward!  Great concept for a show....very interesting.

BSG because it is AMAZING!  I would love to see SM do a BSG con.  Or at least gest some more guests to signing event......Pretty please SM :)

And firefly/Serenity, because I missed all the cons in the UK when they used to run, and I'd love too see all the guys/girls up on stage together.  Yes there is Hallowhedon, but that is always going to be more geared for the buffy/angel fans in my opinion.  How about a Firefly/Dollhouse con and leave hallowhedon as a buffy/angel??

And glee.  Only one word needed. AWESOME!

I'm not even going to vote because all the ones I want to vote for are in Section 3.
why should I vote for something in the other sections if I really don't want to go to them?

To be honest I'm not going to vote on this
The only show/film I can see being worth a vote is Lord of the Rings because of The Hobbit being due soon.

I look at things like Firefly ( which I dearly love) and think that time has passed and would only be worth it if you    got Gina Torres or Joss Whedon and whose fan base has been attending another organizers events for years

On a similar note Supernatural while it maybe a current show but again two main cast members have attended another organizers event this year and Jeffrey Dean Morgan is the only one that most fans need to meet

The shows that I like I just can't see having the fan base to carry only supporting cast as guests, shows like Bones who if you could get the main cast member that people want to meet You would be better served having him at Hallowhedon

The other show that I enjoy is Smallville and that has already been proved to not work with even main cast unless someone gets Tom Welling can not see it working
Shiny!!!!!

Let's be bad guys

I aim to misbehave

Supernatural is a great show probably my favourite show at the moment, but generally the character's Sam and Dean are the main people with Bobby and Cas are the secondary main charactors. I'm glad they brought Cas into the show. Supernatural season 5 has been really strong and i'm still really loving it.

Dexter - I think it needs to build a fan base the show is really good.

For those of you wandering what the show is about, it's about a serial killer who does blood spatter analysis for the police, but he murders guys that kill innocent people and him being a serial killer himself gives him the edge to find the people who are killers, whilst also consealing his murders from the police, FBI, sister, friends and his lover.

I do know more but i don't want to ruin it for people who want to see it for the first time. But please give this show a chance it's really good.
