Sorry to bring that's up but I'm not really pleased that I have paid £15 for the talk and we have only one guest.
Don't get me wrong I'm pleased that we have a Twilight guest and I have nothing against Bronson but it's not fair to pay £15 for one guest...

I don't really care about the £15 (I mean, I do, but I don't regret spending them since Bronson seems great to meet!), but I also wonder how SM decides whether something is a free or a paid for talk?

Just to give you an example, I was really surprised for the Stargate talk to be free in LFCC, whereas Michael was attending... I mean, I would have paid to hear him too! Don't get me wrong, I was really glad that it was free but well, still surprised =)

The problem is that they can never guarantee there will be another guest to add to a talk.

They have had paid talks with only solo talkers before, and they've worked well.

I can certainly understand why some people will be disappointed, but it's unfortunately the way things go sometimes.

I believe that SM decide on whether a talk will paid or not based on how busy it's likely to be. That way it stops mass queuing because a free Twilight talk would be madness and this way only the number of people who paid get a shot.

On the other hand, when you bought your talk ticket, there was only one Twilight guest announced, so the talk line-up has not changed.

(And lots of talks with one person happen. The Supernatural talk was originally billed as a Misha Collins talk if I'm not mistaken.)

You won't get a refund because there will be a Twilight guest giving a talk. The only way to avoid disappoint is not to be pay for one in future really.

I totally agree with you. I mean, when we booked we all knew it was Bronson alone for now, and there was no certainty about any other guest....

Personally, I can't wait to meet Bronson! He seems to be such a nice guy! And cute, also =)

Oh, about this talk, I forgot to ask something: What size is the picture that we get? Is it the same size as it was in LFCC? Just for me to know if I actually have to take my big folder with me, or if my smaller one will be enough? ^^

As far as I know, the pictures are usually the same size as that.

It's possible that they had every intention of getting more guests, but it can never be guaranteed. Even if they had another guest, and they cancelled, no refunds would be given as one is still there. So it's a similar situation.

I usually recognise people from their avatars/photos/Facebook etc .. as long as people never expect me to look like mine

Ill be honest, im disapointed aswell. But at the same time, i know for me personally i booked a ticket early knowing if i left it any later id get a crap seat, and if they did announce another guest(s) then it would have sold out, and id be lucky to get a seat at all. Its always a gamble. We have our tickets now and like david said we cant get refunds so lets just enjoy it and make the most of it  

And he may not be a big star of the saga at the moment, but we still have eclipse and BD to go and the wolves are alot more involved from now on :) And we can all say we had the pleasure to meet him :)  



ohh  forgot to ask, if by sunday afternoon its still not sold out, they wont invite people there to fill up the empty seats for free would they?

Just wondering how that worked.

I must admit I'm a bit disappointed that there is only the 1 guest for the talk as it did say Guest"S" and not a Twi talk with Bronson. I, like someone else said booked my ticket as soon as it was announced knowing that Twilight stuff usually sell's like hot cakes so if I waited I probably wouldnt get in.

When it comes to things like this I guess it's all about chance..same with buying tickets/train tickets etc to events..I bet tons of folk have got £50-100 worth of train tickets to come to the event and their favourite guests have cancelled..it's nothing that SM or anyone can predict.

I would be annoyed as well but I'm jealous you even get to go to a talk with a NM member this weekdn !

Bronson is a good talker so you should have a great time

I'll upload photos on here if you want me to! I always take loads of pics during a talk, and as I have a really good seat they should come out good =)
