Stepster Posted October 28, 2009 Share Posted October 28, 2009 (edited) Unfortunatly im in a bit of a fix You see the Hub 4 falls on the weekend of my flatmates wedding (talk about bad timing) and i was cursed with this thing at birth called a conscience so i dont think i'll be able to make this one. Im actualy quite gutted but im one of lifes good guys and have to do the right thing- however on mentioning this to said flatmates they laughed and said i should still go (there nice like that) but that would be wrong..... wouldnt it? what do you guys think? If it was my family I wouldnt miss the wedding but for a friend it would depend how close we were - only you know how close you are to your flatmate. There'll be more Hubs (most likely) so you can meet the guests another time but the wedding won't happen again. And ask them see if they would mind and just go over factors and stuff. I lived with three people a few years ago and we tended to invite each other to things because we felt obliged to, even though none of us interacted socially. Since we all went our seperate ways I have had no contact with any of them and would dare say that they haven't bothered with each other too. If on the other hand you and your housemate are close friends then I think a wedding is something too important to miss.
