[Doctor Who]

Hiya, I just thought I'd make this thread as there were lots of funny moments in the talks and it'd be great if we could write some of the moments down so they aren't forgotten and we can check the archives for some of our favourite moments. I'll start it off with a few of my favourite moments and quotes that I can remember off the top of my head;

Kai Owen's singing of 'I Am Barrowman' in the tune of 'I Am What I Am'

Liz May Brice's comment about her bed scene with Stephen Moyer

Kai Owen's answer to what Rhys and Gwen's baby would be called "DUNCAN!" even if it was a girl.

I'll probably think of some more later and if I do, I'll post them on here. The talks were definitely one of my favourite moments of the weekend and I'm glad that my question about time travel was asked. I also really liked the idea of Ianto coming back as an apparition to Jack only. I'll definitely be submitting more questions for the next Hub's talks, the panels are great.

Ben's James Brown impression

Ben constantly urging everyone through Sunday's panels to write to the BBC about him and Liz being in s4.

Liz: I'm scared of you all. I blew up the Hub!

Rik saying he'd be John Hart, for reasons including 'he's a memorable character... unlike Rupesh'
Gareth: you were very, very, very memorable
Rik: I was just playing the sympathy vote. Just doing what you've been doing for the last fifteen minutes!

Katy's 'two handled mug' idea which then got shot down by Gareth and Ben.

Rik after everyone laughed at the 'how can I top you?' comment.

Gareth and the whole 'midnight time machine' thing - and then being told it was 2am.

(I sort of have 17 sides of notes in my notebook from the panels... gonna attempt to write them up for my LJ at some point)

Thanks for those Daphne and etmuse, that's brought back a few memories which I loved but had already forgotten, darn my short memory. I remember the Gareth time machine part now as it was in answer to my question so thanks for posting about that and if you put them up on LJ, will you please post a link? It'd be great to see them all, thanks in advance.

It wasn't a quote as such that amused me, but Gareth having the Ianto line from Sleeper about the phones on his mobile and playing it down his mike...

Having had a few accidents on stairs myself, I found this particularly amusing. Especially since it was always the same step that he had trouble with!

You guys are great, I forget things so quick, you've brought it all back again, lol!

I too loved Ben's sign language  (not really a quote though) to the audience as everyone was still chatting and wondering what we were laughing at! That reminds me, I have a letter to write.  

Liz's blowing up the Hub comment was hilarious.
I loved all Paul Copley's stories - so interesting, and too too funny.

The midnight time machine could have been a great thing, but it's 2am GDL!
(although we had a malfunction with our phone clocks ourselves, so can hardly comment!).

My particular favourites were Gareth singing 'a la Barrowman'
"I'm all outta love..." whilst doing very convincing JB actions too - that song is still in my head, arghhhh!

and also Kai, although he's said it several times before it's his catchphrase I guess (apart from Rhys's "Aliens? In Cardiff?"

Possibly! If it was a person in a top hat and latex tie and gloves then it was definately me!

Don't know if It's a quote, but Kai wanting more questions on food was hilarious!

and who would you take on an escape pod with you - they're all taking Gemma as far as I remember, except Ben I think :)

With thanks to Allieandra who has it as her personal message so that reminded me of it, another of my favourite moments was when Kai said "I like all types of cheese, that's why I like John Barrowman' in reply to 'What's your favourite cheese?'

Yeah, Ben was gonna take Bear Grylls and a fat man.

But Gemma was definitely looking pretty safe to get off the planet if it was exploding.
