So.. less than a week to go now.. and the nerves have kicked in

Very much so. At CM I said about two stuttered sentences to Amber and nothing at all to Mercedes except a very, very timid 'Thanks' so I'm hoping I can say some more to the guests this time. 
I'm also quite nervous about meeting everyone I speak to on here and on MSN and stuff, 'cause even though I'm perfectly weird on the computer, I'm far too shy in real life.
Excited but nervous, that's exactly how I'm feeling right now.

Yep, I'm nervous too... the last few months I've just been excited but now that it's 4 days away I'm starting to get a bit jittery! A bit like that first-day-of-school 'will anyone talk to me?' sort of feeling!!

I tend to turn into a complete idiot when I meet guests.
When I met Nathan Fillion at Collectormania he said "Hi, I'm Nathan Fillion" and I just grinned stupidly at him and said "yes, you are". What a bleeding doofus !!!!
Looking forward to seeing people off here but when I see them I go all shy and don't say anything at all.
It took me all my time to work up the nerve to speak to DB and only managed it cos I had goodies

honestly? terrified lol dont get me wrong i am so friggin excited my head may literally explode but yeah nervous too.
I am going with three gals i have been friends with for about three years now. i have never met any of them before but they all get together a lot offline so im kind of scared to be meeting them for the first time worried we might not get along offline which is uber scary cos i love those girls to bits and ignoring the fact that the weekend would suck if we didnt get along, id also lose three great friends. so yeah, me=scared.

To be honest......I cant even begin to think about the convention right now, let alone get nervous! I've got so much work to get through this week and rehersals for the play I'm in, before I can relax!
It's 8.30pm and I'm still in Uni, that's 12 hours I've been sitting this damn computer room trying to map the magmetic field of Neptune and compile data for my masters project.....not fun!
Thank god for this weekend!
Come Friday Afternoon when my class/presentaion is over, i bet I'll be a nervous wreck though!!!! 4 days......can't believe it!

Ok, so I wasn't that nervous, until I read this threat....
Now, I'm totally nervous about talking to people and just grinning or turning red. Kinda disappointed though, that Harry Groener won't be there.... But still very nervous about the other five, especially Nick and James.

Haha, yeahh I'm really nervous!
I'm pretty shy that's one thing, but i'm even more nervous about the fact that I'm from Norway and not sure my english is the best xP
Hehe, I doubt anyone will even pronounce my name right x)
Anyway, never been to anything like this before so it's going to be a whole new experience
Luckily I'm not going alone from Norway though, my friend is coming with me!
So if someone wants to hang out with two 'Norwegians', feel free to let me know

There's nothing to be nervous about, we con regulars all don't bite (unless you ask us to), and the guests will be used to people being nervous/excited around them and know how to put you at your ease. I know James Marsters certainly does. :)

Yeh. James is fantastic. The first time i met him i managed to squeak at him. My other half had to translate.
Think i'm more nervous about meeting you guys and whether you'll like me. The whole thing about me joining the forum was to get to know people as i've been to a con on my own before and kinda ended up a loner. I'm shy until i get to know you and see what i can get away with saying without offending anyone.

We're gonna be as comfy as ever since we were all brought together there by common love for our fave shows
My belly always does the butterfly thing though when I'm in front of james.
