Back from the hub!

Hey guys, im back from the hub early! only cause mum has to work tomorrow lol!

 

I had a good weekend overall but there was ups and downs!

 

Up's being, meeting the amazing Gareth david lloyd who obliged in giving me a massive hug for my photo, what a sweetie!...

 

Kai's suprise appearance on the saturday night and getting to have a photo with him today and yet again getting the biggest cuddle ever haha..he was pure awesome and it was a well kept secret, well done SM and thanks, it made up for James not coming (as long as he is at hallowhedon next week hehe bless him)

 

The talks were really good, Rik was very funny and Nicholas had some interesting stories :) - and obviously Gareth & Kai were awesome!

 

Downs for me included James not showing up, obviously not SM's fault, but was still a bit gutted, thankfully he is ok though - which is the important thing and get to see him next week

 

other downs included, the dealer ''room'' wasnt so much a room but about 4 stalls with not a whole lot of torchwood merchandise on it, this is my first SM CONVENTION but attended signings before and expected a larger dealer room, unless this is usually the case for conventions? not 100% sure, but that was a little disappointing.

 

Also we had a lot of waiting around on the saturday with only one or two ppl we could go and see for autos, with our group number everything seemed to fall for us on the sunday so up until the talks started at 3pm we were pretty bored lol

 

Other than these small things, the weekend was good overall and Kai showing up definitly made my weekend so thanks SM :)

 

 

I forgot to add (how dare i!!)

 

Other highlights included Gareth riding the sheep at the friday night party, Kai & Gareths skit on saturday night and watching Ben and Lara on the elasticated bungee style thing haha (i dunno what to call it) on saturday also!

The dealer room was about normal based on Hubs/Chevrons/etc I have attended. Roughly the same anmount of dealers. I will say it looked spartan because they were in a HUGE room compared to normal. Usually it's a small room and thus appears to be more. I think it is up to the dealers themselves if they choose to attend - i.e. if they decide it would be worthwhile

 

 

 

p.s. Just got back as well! I was only there today but thoroughly enjoyed it
