My Dad just got off the phone with them after having a 30 minute "arguement" because apparently we didn't have a room and they'd "Overbooked" It was only when my dad threatened with the "Let me speak with the manager" that our booking was magically found on the database. But, I have my email confirmation of the booking and I always print those off to bring with me, so they can't deny I didn't book when I go to check in! They do NOT want to make me angry right now! Jenjen23 Posted October 14, 2009 Share Posted October 14, 2009 they always overbook the rooms incase people don't turn up, we stayed in ibis in leeds for slam dunk fest and waited an hour and a half to check in cos of overbooking :/ daft hotels. hope it's ok for me, trying somewhere else cheaper too, fingers crossed everyone has a room! pez Posted October 15, 2009 Share Posted October 15, 2009 a lot of people may have double booked there room, i booked one then cancled it because i then got an offer through for the room 60 cheeper. but i checked my confermation and the site on monday and my booking is still there, the ibis have the stupidest staff i split my head when i was there last time and asked for a first aid box and they sent me to the loo to get paracetamol....not much good when your bleeding from the forehead Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
