in the 'getting to know you' thread people have been asked what reminds them of the hub.
now this is a bit of an extention of that.

i was wondering what songs remind you of the hub OR what songs do you remember being played at the last hub wether it be on your own player or at the partys,
its just a bit of fun :)

Livin' on a prayer - Bon Jovi
That song the conga was to.
Hot and Cold - Katy Perry.

Quite a few more that I hear and then think of the hub.
I'll keep posting as I remember them lol
So... that happened.

Nothing reminds me of the Hub as I've never been to one, but Doctorin' the Tardis always reminds me of cons in general as does Star Trekkin - but that's another story.

And as for the Laughton's comment... yes it does.

I haven't been to any previous Hubs, this will be my first, but I like the sound of these songs for the parties. Any Avril Lavigne, The Killers, Taylor Swift, JLS, Lady Gaga and more would be great. Oh and of course 'Heyo Captain Jack' and I Lost My Heart to a Starship Trooper' along with all listed so far in this thread, they'd all be fantastic. :D

I didn't really go to parties, but do remember Magic Dance & Islands In The Stream!!

Though the song that always reminds me of the con & the friends I made is 'The End Is Where We Start From' have no idea why as it's from the TW soundtrack...

First of many hubs I hope!

You're a swift fan... does "Breathe" make you think of the Doctor (after he's gone ofcourse) at all? Does me, but I'm weird like that.

I got back from Hub 2 and almost immediately made a Torchwood music vid to the song 'Captain Jack' - it was stuck in my head for WEEKS.

Thanks for that! I did wonder if anyone else whould know what I was on about!

It won't be the same without the 'usual suspects' (Nellie is never the same without Preacher), but it'll be great to have music I can dance to! I had a horrific fear that it was all going to be terribly current and lacking in the all important cheese factor!

Well, the song I used went 'Heyo, Captain Jack' the whole way through, but the title of the song was still just 'Captain Jack'...

Yeah, first of many Hubs and conventions I hope too plus yep, I'm a massive Taylor Swift fan. I'm going to see her in concert in November and am really looking forward to it. Breathe does kind of remind me of the Doctor too so you're not the only one lol. Avril Lavigne's 'When You're Gone' reminds me of The Doctor and Rose more though. B)

I made a video to that song too and it's my most popular video with just under 30,000 views. It's set to clips of Torchwood series one and the clips go to the lyrics, quite proud of it as it was my second video using actual clips instead of pictures. :chair:
