SugarSpunSister Posted September 21, 2009 Share Posted September 21, 2009 Yes the format was great, I think they should definitely do a couple of smaller cons next year with some of the less well known guests :) Although they would need to put the cost of the ticket up for a smaller amount of people as Jason has already said that the Twi Prom's were not profitable. I can't stop thinking about it. My only problem is that it would need to be announced earlier so we have chance to get money etc. And possibly not so close to the ET events. I don't think we'll be able to stop Jose coming back. On Sunday night he couldn't stop saying what a wonderful time he'd had and how awesome everyone involved with the event was and how all the attendees has been so amazing and friendly to him. He was so impressed with how Twilight had brought all these different people together. How girls as young as 12 and 13 were sat around talking with people of 40+ and it was all so natural and everyone was so together. I thought it was quite touching to listen to all of them explain how hard it is for most actors to get work. I will never think crossly of an actor that cancels a convention due to an actual acting job offer, it sounds like they are lucky to get them and silly to turn them down. I know SM will sort out great alternative guests anyway. Look how amazing our "alternative" guests were this time, I haven't heard one complaint about Charlie or Daniel, and Jose was really lovely! and yes, it was fab having people of all ages there and enjoying themselves! That's something I always bring up when friends ask me if I can get over Twilight already. They feel sorry for my "obsession" but I feel sorry for them because they're missing out on so much!
