An area for the forum folk (us lol!!) to meet up..I know we could decide between ourselves an area but if it was all official and stuff more folk would be more likely to come and speak...There was a few folk this year I said I'd speak to but never ended up doing so because I never found them/couldn't remember what they looked like, so I think for reasons like that it'd be a really good idea. Moderators DavidB Posted September 1, 2009 Moderators Share Posted September 1, 2009 I guess it's just a case of if they can have space for things that are making money i.e. stalls, guests etc, rather than an empty space just for people occasionally meeting, then they'll obviously have to take the more business-wise option. I don't know what Glasgow is like in terms of space available? Is it something you feel there's room to implement on top of what is already offered? And as you saw this year, Jason went an extra step and combined the Cosplay registration desk with the UKCM and my prop collection, as well as the Stargate costumes that were brought, and we turned the foyer into an attraction in its own right. It's not like a dealer table could be out there anyway, so Showmasters aren't losing sellable space, and as I mentioned earlier - I have some big ideas on what to do out there next year!
