Awesome! I am thinking of doing something new as well. Of course, I'll Lara some of the day (it's kind of tradition now, eh lol?) but I'd like to expand a bit..maybe Harley? I'm not sure yet.

Anyone got any decent hotel recommendations by the way? Cheap but decent? We stayed at Travel Lodge and it was an absolute nightmare....really bad.

i am so glad it wasnt just me that thought this, there was a fight on the road outside my window at 2ish which woke me up. being on the main road and there being no blinds up at the window meant i had my curtains closed a lot as i was sure people could see in. the breakfast was a farce. only good point was guy on desk fixed my phone and it was close to venue that said i would go back to glasgow next year

The taxi back to the city centre was only around a tenner after the party- so if you were sharing with a few people and can find a cheap hotel in the centre, it would probably be a good choice!

I think we'd be quite happy to share with you folk now since we "know" you =P...I suggested room sharing with Doug at the first one and he was a bit iffy but I just suggested it to him and he seemed happy..So yeah.

I'd be interested to hear what your issues were with the TL Vic.
For the money we paid I thought it was a very basic room, no air con, cramped bathroom, beds a bit iffy, very few power points, one plastic chair, no free interwebs.
Plus I had the annoyance of having to get my room key reset each afternoon.

Well, we went in with a room for four and were presented with two duvets...=/ i understand a double bed needs one but the other two kinda need more than one lol..and two pillows between the four of us.. We had one towel for the whole weekend between all of us, the walls were absolutely MINGIN..they were covered in some sort of red icky stuff, the room opposite us had decided that it was nice and decent to leave a REALLY stinking nappy outside their door, and we told the folk at the desk and they did nothing until we told them again, the kettle wasn't working, the ladies toilets downstairs should have had over 10 rolls of toilet paper in between all the toilets but there wasn't even one full toilet roll, yuck, and the breakfast was just an absolute joke..there was never more than one tray of stuff at a time, and by the time you waited for the next thing your sausages etc would be stone cold nad come on..who the hell eats their bacon, egg and sausages seperately? You advertise as all you can eat and the customer kinda expects that..we were there for an hour and got two sausages, a slice of bacon and a bit of egg.

Oh yeah, we had to reset our room key as well! And there was an advert for pizza which didn't even exsist lol!
