Kelsbells64
I have never attended a collectormania event and am slightly confused so am hoping one of the more seasoned pro's will explain it to me. My questions would be Am I too late to buy a photograh with one of the guests or can you buy these on the day which day is the busiest and what day would you recommend I attend? If you buy an actual photograph of a guest is it an additional charge to have then autographed? Is there a charge for getting something signed? How much is this and again am I too late to buy these ? Are autographs, photyographs and guest talks avaialble to buy on the day do you pay to attend the guest talks? Are there traders selling items to buy at the event? any helpful hints and tips for a newbie attending ?
touchthesky
Well, heres what I would say : * Am I too late to buy a photograh with one of the guests or can you buy these on the day you shouldn't be at all. just go to the right booth on saturday/sunday morning and you'll be fine * which day is the busiest and what day would you recommend I attend? I suppose it really depends on whos there etc...at LFCC for example Sunday was the busiest day because of Peter Facinelli. * If you buy an actual photograph of a guest is it an additional charge to have then autographed? Not sure I fully understand here, but you get a free photo to be signed when you buy an autograph, but if yu want your own signed it'll just cost the same. * Is there a charge for getting something signed? How much is this and again am I too late to buy these ? Yes, there is..it's generally between £10-20 * Are autographs, photyographs and guest talks avaialble to buy on the day Yes * do you pay to attend the guest talks? Not unless it specifically says on the site.. * Are there traders selling items to buy at the event? Yus * any helpful hints and tips for a newbie attending ? have fun! Queen_Sindel
The basics have already been covered, but here's some more info. Am I too late to buy a photograh with one of the guests or can you buy these on the day You can buy those on the day. The online store is closed already and tickets are available on the day. which day is the busiest and what day would you recommend I attend? For Glasgow I don't think there will be much of a difference which day is busier. There are a couple of guests that are attending one day online though, so if you want to meet one of those guests your choice has already been made for you. The full list can be found here: http://showmastersonline.com/forums/index....showtopic=52040 If you buy an actual photograph of a guest is it an additional charge to have then autographed? You mean a photo from the photo session? Yes, you will have to pay if you want that signed. Generally Showmasters provide photos to get signed. That photo is included with the autograph fee. Anything you bring to get signed is subject to the same fee. Is there a charge for getting something signed? How much is this and again am I too late to buy these ? The autograph fees can be found in the topic that I linked for the days: http://showmastersonline.com/forums/index....showtopic=52040 This is per item, so if you bring 2 photos you'd have to pay the fee for both. Autographs can be bought on the day only, so you are definitely not too late. Are autographs, photyographs and guest talks avaialble to buy on the day Yes, they are. They either will be sold at the Organisers Booth directly or at a table near that booth. do you pay to attend the guest talks? There have been talks that you had to pay for at other shows, but to the best of my knowledge all Glasgow talks are free. Are there traders selling items to buy at the event? Yes, there is a huge dealers area. any helpful hints and tips for a newbie attending ? Don't be scared. I remember from own experience that facing a convention for the first time will give you the impression "Oh my god, I will never make it through this." But you will be okay. Any problems, just talk to a member of the crew. As touchthesky already said, the most important thing is to have fun.

Kelsbells64
So if I wanted to get a picture taken with amber, and have it autographed. How much would that be and would the £10 free autograph be taken off her autograph?
Moderators DavidB Posted August 29, 2009 Moderators Share Posted August 29, 2009 The free autograph is a specified guest. You can't just use it on any guest. And it's not Amber. Mike Edmonds on Saturday. Peter Burroughs on Sunday. Amber is £15 for a professional photo, and £15 for an autograph. So £30 for what you want.
