What happened to the fair ground? Did they ever open?
I saw them setting up on Fri morning, but they packed up around lunch time on Saturday.

Well it did rain the majority of the weekend. That might explain it.

I saw that and wondered!
After all the hype, then they did a runner early on saturday!! I saw one truckfull of rides leaving about 11am, followed by the rest a few hours later!

There was something strangely depressing about standing in the rain on Saturday morning and seeing the inactive fairground nearby. I knew there and then it probably wasn't going to happen!

We had a comedy photo in the pouring rain by the empty fairground .... so so funny! Well you have to laugh really don't you?!
