TRUKid Posted April 16, 2009 Share Posted April 16, 2009 (edited) Well I attended both Torchwood cons (The Hub 1 and 2) and basically it involves professional photo shoots and autograph sessions during the day but this depends on what type of ticket you have or if you purchase any extra shoot/auto tickets! There is also a dealers room which you can browse through whenever you want. In the afternoons there are talks in the main hall featuring 1 or 2 guests at a time and they also do a full guest talk too! Also, they have intimate encounters etc where there are approx. 10 attendees and 1 certain guest - these cost extra and places for these are auctioned and/or raffled off! The parties at night are excellent too. They are parties with a twist - by this I mean like at The Hub 2 where the Sat. night party had a coconut shy, shooting range, FREE candy-floss and popcorn and also a freak show (which Too Tall and other staff starred in!!!) Well I can only go by the ones at The Hub(s) and the main dealer sold different size glossy pictures of Torchwood and Dr.Who characters and also large canvases which were excellent (I know this as I got one and John Barrowman signed it and it looks amazing on my living room wall ) Other dealers were selling other Torchwood and Dr.Who merchanise such as books, magazines, toys etc. There are also some dealers who sell items such as autographs of other famous people and jewellery etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The parties at night are excellent too. On the Friday when they first opened they were but they settle down after an hour or so and then they are 'nice and chilled' for the rest of the weekend wow I feel so cute and innocent lol at least I won't be the only one! If you see me I'll be the one walking around with a confused look. I can assure you that will not happen at all! Too Tall and the guys are absolutely amazing and will give you any help at all when you need it. All the other attendees are really nice and will assist you also. I went to The Hub back in October last year on my own. After about 15minutes I started chatting to someone and we spent the whole weekend together and have become great friends and have met up loads since.
