SunSpeed
With only a week away until the next Collectormania Midlands and Autographica is anyone else excited? I'm hoping to speak to other people who post on this forum and are attending. I'm trying to decide which people I'm going to see on the Saturday and Sunday, based on which days they are attending and what items I want signed, along with 8x10 photos. The room was "air conditioned" at the last Autographica at the Hilton, but I couldn't tell. Edited April 11, 2009 by SunSpeed

SunSpeed
I'm sure I remember reading here a few weeks or months ago that the two events will be held in three rooms at the Hilton, compared to the one room the last time for Autographica (the King's Suite). How will it be done this time? Will Autographica be held in the King's Suite again? Once I knew where the event was being held the last time it was ok. Until then I found it easy to get lost, amid the maze corridors! Nice place though where the event was held, and it was more laid back. What would be helpful (and I'm not being sarcastic) is to have the name of the guest, on a card or piece of paper, behind where the guest is signing. Also for the busiest guests it might be helpful to have one of those crowd queue controlling things, so that someone dosen't end up in a queue for the wrong guest. I'm not going next week though, it isn't 20 minutes away for me. So I've got friends hopefully buying one or three autographs for me, as it's not worth the travel expense for what I'd spend on guests on this occasion. SunSpeed
Would people here agree that the majority of people who will be attending the two events at the Hilton this weekend don't post on the Showmasters forums?

Judging by the amount of people ive seen purchasing horror merchandise and the size of the ques for Robert Englund and Bruce Campbell in the past id assume no. The reason? If those people were on this forum the Horror section would be busy and a horror show would be a could be instead of a never.

It should be a really, really good show and you know what? Massive kudos to Jason and team for pulling it out of the bag with the superbly balanced guest list especially in the current climate. Having both events combined will be good for both but even better for the fans. I'm already planning to spenmd more than ever on autos at this event. Agreed - it's a great lineup, and looking forward to meeting the Indy guests in particular. It'll be the first Midlands event for me (I would have come up for Bruce Campbell, but was out of the country at the time).
